Inside the large Malfoy Mansion Narcissa stood in their large green kitchen washing the dirty dishes in the sink quickly by magic. Somewhere in the living room she could here her small five year old boy Draco playing with his new friend Crabbe and Goyle. For as long as she had known Draco had always been so pure and innocent. Now thanks to his father she knew that he'd never be that way again. She could hear Crabbe's small muggle television playing loudly in the room next to the kitchen. She could hear the children laughing loudly over the televisions loud volume.

Almost 11 years later Narcissa was still doing the same daily routine as she had been doing years before. Now though the house wasn't filled with laughter. Draco had been going to Hogwarts for the last few years and had left her alone in the manor with her husband. Now instead of hearing laughter throughout the house she heard cries of pain from the prisoners below in the dungeons.

Narcissa walked over to the large table in the large room and sat down. She waved her wand and a small cup of coffee appeared on the table beside her. As the last screams faded into the distance she heard her husband charge up the stairs. Apparently the prisoner had not been as generous to share his information as Lucius thought that he would be.

As Lucius entered the large room and began walking angrily toward his wife. Narcissa backed up and close to the wall as she could. She was always scared of her husband when he got in these moods.

Somewhere inside her she summoned the little courage she had left, from her previous beatings and raised her wand toward her husband.

"You're never going to hurt me again," she muttered as she hissed the deadly curse she had seen to many times before.

Narcissa stood silently as the most powerful wizard in the world stood before her. Dumbledore looked quickly through a piece of paper lying on his judge's stand and then lowered his head.

"So you admit to murdering your husband with one of the unforgivable curses," Dumbledore said.

"Yes," Narcissa said proudly. After all that her husband had done to her, no matter what was going to happen to her, at least Draco would be able to chose his future.

"And your husband was a well known Death Eater," Dumbledore continued as if what she had just said meant nothing to him. "We will now dismiss to decided the verdict," Dumbledore said to the entire courtroom.

Narcissa just stood there, wondering what her fate would be. Maybe she would be able to help them capture the other death eaters, even if she was still suppose to be killed.

Dumbeldore marched back into the room. As he sat down in his judge's seat he smiled.

'Oh no,' Narcissa thought. 'This is going to be bad'

"Narcissa," Dumbeldore began. "You will decide your fate. Your husband must have known at least around half of the Death Eaters that are still free today. Give me the list of names and you can walk away freely. If not you will be killed."

Narcissa only had to think a moment before saying the answer. "I'll give you the names."

"Perfect," Dumbeldore said.

Narcissa looked back into the court audience to see a tall blond haired boy about 16. He smiled at his mom from across the courtroom and gave her a small thumbs-up sign. The second Narcissa was allowed to leave she ran over to her son and embraced him in a long hug. All his life Draco had been taught to not let his emotions show, no matter what. Now he didn't care.

"I know you had to do it mom," Draco said in a soft voice. "I love you mom."
