The captain's quarters were dimly lit. Although in that small amount of light, a young lady with her wrists chained behind her, signs of bruises already beginning to stain her pale flesh, and blood trailing from her lip, was able to be seen easily.
The first mate sneered at her. "You could have been such a good little girl. Too bad you had to go an' do what you thought was right for you. S'obvious you were wrong, and you'll be getting a life long stay in Davy Jones locker."
A man ran up and saluted the first mate who signaled for him to speak.
"Sir, ev'rything be set up jus how ye wanted it." the man said.
"Good. Prepare the crew for the little wench's death. I'm sure they got something to say to her."
"Sir, yes sir." the man left as soon as he was dismissed, shooting the girl a pained look.
"Now, where were we? Ah, I remember. I was just about to rip apart every single shred of your pride."
The girl glared at him. As he drew himself close to her, she spit directly into his face.
He wiped off his face and smirked. "Stupid girl."
Throughout the rest of the night, the girl was beaten repetitively and viciously. She never cried out or said a word, but revenge was the only thing she thought of. And after her mutinous first-mate left the room, believing her to be unconscious, she listened and watched and planned. But she said naught a word.
The next morning, her old first mate kicked her awake. When he saw her eyes open, he grabbed the chains still on her wrists and pulled her to her feet. Sneering in disgust, he pulled her onto the deck.
"You could have been much better if you had just listened to begin with and be the ship whore, then it wouldn't have to be this way. You could still be on the ship, I could be in control of it, and we wouldn't have to stop in Tortuga so often. Your fault. Now you can drown." He tossed her over the side of the boat, after unchaining her hands.
