Aragorn got up and stretched. Lord Elrond turned for a moment at the sound of Aragorn sighing, but then bent back over his paper. Aragorn put his pipe down and walked over to Elrond's side. He studied Lord Elrond's paper carefully. "Where is Sauruman said to be?" asked Aragorn quietly. From studying Elrond's paper, it looked like he was to be somewhere in the Mirkwood Mountains.

"The Mountains of Mirkwood," said Lord Elrond looking up from his parchment. "We think that he is trying to maybe bring the evil back into Mirkwood. Just don't tell Legolas." He got up and walked over to the balcony, letting the breeze hit his face. Aragorn stayed near the desk and looked over what direction Elrond had them going in. He chuckled at Lord Elrond's last words.

"Sauruman is hiding in the mountains so close by, and you have us going to Lorien. For more men hopefully. You can find the best of Men there.?"

"Exactly. I happen to know that there are Men living there that can help you against Sauromon's army. There are also some elves that have skills close to Legolas'." Elrond glanced at Aragorn, wondereing what his reaction to 'Sauruman's army' would be. Aragorn didn't even look up.

"What is he making them of this time?"

"He is putting a small amount of his power in each of them. He has numerous crystal balls, wands, staffs, his own powers, and for all we know he has put his own little-known king-friends into trances to drain them all of their powers. He is a very desperate man. His master was always Sauron, so he wants to carry out his unfinished buisness. Who knows what that could be. Create a new ring, create something more powerful.....he might use the Black Riders. Right now we can't be sure of anything."

"What is it you want us to do, then?"

"Find Sauromon, mind you as soon as possible, and bring him back alive. If dead, then that will ruin my plans. Don't ask me what they are yet, though. I haven't quite gotten them settled." Elrond closed his eyes, deep in thought. "Oh, yes," he quickly added. "I want you to go down to Isengard and see what is left of Sauruman's Orthanc Tower, after you capture ther man himself."

"A difficult task that will be done," answered Aragorn, bowing slightly, knowing that this task would truly be a difficult one. He swiftly gathered his belongings which were scattered around the small room and quietly walked down the stairs. It was time that he began planning.
