"No! That's not true! I have the Ring! The Ring is in my hands now. I have the ultimate power!"

Aragorn placed the Ring on his finger and lightning flashed throughout the sky. Thunder rolled. Legolas and Gimli were on their knees and their hands were over their heads to block out the deafening noises of screaming high pitched screaming and the thunder and lightning. They were on the top of Mount Doom and Sauruman was screaming. He was screaming because Aragorn had stolen the Ring from him. No one could see him.

Aragorn was invisible to the rest of the group. He was looking around wildy, not knowing where to go. Orcs surrounded the foot of the mountain. There were rows and rows of them. They were beginning to climb the mountain.

"FIND MY PRECIOUS!" bellowed Sauruman at the top of his lungs. "RUN!"

The Orcs began to run. Aragorn's choices were to either be trampled by the Orcs and have the Ring be loose again, or jump into Mount Doom and have the Ring be burned by lava. He couldn't just throw the Ring in because then Sauruman would surely kill him on the spot. So he made up his mind and-

"Wake UP!"

"Sheesh, I never knew that his body could sleep this long!" Aragorn had his back turned to Legolas and Gimli who were gently shaking him and prodding him in the back. He opened his eyes and smiled, then remembered his dream. He sat up so fast that he sat on Legolas' hands. "Sorry," Aragorn said, turning very red in the face. So was Legolas. Gimli just looked back and forth, and their was an embarassing silence until Gimli said,

"Uh, Aragorn, the meeting starts in 10 minutes.....You better move your sleepy body, or Lord Elrond won't be to pleased!" Aragorn sighed and got out of bed. He felt very refreshed, but very uneasy. "How long have you been trying to wake me up?"

"Since we heard you shout 'No!' in your sleep. When we came in to check on you, you were clutching your finger and turning back and forth. You stopped turning a few minutes after."

"Oh," breathed Aragorn. He shook his head, as though trying to get rid of the dream. "Well, tell Elrond that I will come soon. I must freshen up....." Gimli nodded and Legolas said, "We'll be waiting." They walked out and quietly closed the door. As soon as they were gone, Aragorn pulled open the drawer on his bed side table, and grabbed some parchment and some ink. He took a quill from the jar on the table and began to write.

Had a dream today. Think that it was an omen. A bad one.

Dreamed that I had the Ring and that I was invisible.

I cried that I had the ultimate power and Sauruman was there.

On Mount Doom and Orcs were surrounding me.

Legolas and Gimli were on the groun though.

I had to make a choice, and I didn't find what my

choice was because I was awoken by Legolas and Gimli

for meeting time.

He put everything back and put his paper in his pack he would take traveling. He made sure that it was hidden from sight too.
