Aragorn knocked on Lady Arwen's door. It was time that he told Arwen about his feelings for her. The door swiftly opened, and Arwen's flawless face appeared, looking up at Aragorn's. "Hello," she whispered. Aragorn looked down upon her face and smiled.

"Lady Arwen," he said and he bowed low to the ground. "Don't bow," replied Arwen to Aragorn's bow. Instead, she gave a small bow to Aragorn. "Come in," she breathed. Aragorn stepped in and looked around.

Arwen closed the door and added to the silence. She also looked around, and then took a step closer to Aragorn. He cleared his throat and began to speak.

"As you know, Arwen, I will be leaving tomorrow and I-" But Arwen leaned forward and kissed Aragorn passionatly on the lips. She let him go and smiled. Aragorn smiled too and kissed her. They stood their and let themselves hold each other, letting the time pass. Aragorn slowly backed up and gently hit the bed. He let himself fall and they lay there, kissing. They let go of each other and breathed in the air of the open window. They lay on the bed silently, just breathing in the night air.

"I will miss you, Aragorn," whimpered Arwen softly. A tear rolled down her cheek and Aragorn wiped it from her face with a gentle finger.

"I will miss you too, Lady Arwen. I have loved you from the moment I set eyes on you when I first came to Rivendell.....a long time ago." Aragorn stroked Arwen's hair and rested his chin on her head. She snuggled against him and breathed in his earthy, rugged scent. She finally raised her head and said. "It is late. You must go. I wouldn't be surprised if the sun were to come up right now." She sadly got up and walked toward the open window. Aragorn watched her for a moment and then also got up. He walked toward her from behind, and put his hands around her waist. Aragorn hugged her close to him and kissed her neck a few times. Her hair blew in his face and he let her go.

"Good-bye, Arwen, my love....." He bowed again and opened the door, letting it gently click. Arwen watched the door close and fell onto her bed weeping.

"I love you too, Aragorn, son of Arathorn."
