Disclaimer: If I owned the Labyrinth, I wouldn't be posting this here,
would I? Actually, I do own the Labyrinth. Just not the actual title,
ideas, & characters.

A.N.~This is the first stanza of this poem. I broke it up so it'd be easier
to read.

~*~*~Goblin King~*~*~

Your eyes are hard, oh Goblin King
So am I just imaganing
The softened edge upon your gaze
that watched me all throughout the maze

As I did wander near and far
Along the pathes that monsters bar
I know you're watching, crystal clear
All that happens to me here

Could it just be a trick of mind
Or was that act remotely kind
A word not guarded said aloud
A hidden soul in myst'ry shroud

While we were dancing, through your stare
I looked and saw confusion there
I guess by then I should have known
But still I left you all alone

Because of fear I ran from thee
What then I couldn't, now I see
You wore your mask for oh, so long
Trying to reach me through a song

Take off the mask I see you hold
You are the Goblin King I'm told
But that eternal dance is done
I broke the spell, I thought I'd won

But now the doubt has risen high
I never really asked you why
You tried so hard to make me stay
Yet hated to get in my way.
