I'm reading a Midsummer Night's Dream for Shakespeare class and I love Puck. This is roughly based off of all of his soliloquies and monologues.

Now be gone you child of sight!

Now is the playtime of the night.

You sit and yawn and stretch and dream,

While we sneak by to curdle cream.

We wait with patience, wicked smiles,

For sleep to no longer you beguile.

And while you slumber on 'til dawn.

We plant dandelions on your lawn.

We steal your shoe, we hide the key,

We stack the china carefully,

So when you wake and check it all,

Your slightest touch will make it fall.

And when our simple tricks are done,

The time for revelry is come.

And then we dance among the sheaves,

No dainty footprint we shall leave.

We watch the stars and hear them sing,

And ask the good wind for tidings.

Yet when stars fade and day does come,

Our time is up, we all go home.

To under hills and hidden vales.

And sit by fires and spin great tales.
