Hi y'all! It's another poem! It's from one of my favorite shows ever! I
would like y'all to know that I've seen the whole series of rurouni kenshin
in Japanese so I really have a lot of places to get inspiration from. I
haven't seen the whole English series but this poem is inspired from the
last episode of Rurouni Kenshin that the north Americans showed before
starting the series over. It's the episode where the Kenshin-gumi leave
Kyoto and head back to Tokyo.
*****************************
I'm back
I left my heart back in the Kamiya dojo
For I feared the Battousai within me
The one person I held dearest
Was left behind in order to protect her
My spirit is broken
For alas, I am a wanderer once more
Now the threat is over
We walk down the same road
For the first time in a long time
To our home
I reminisce
She stops and holds out her hand
"Welcome home, Kenshin."
I forget all my worries and take her hand
I'm back, that I am...
********************************
So did you like it? Did you hate it? Easy on the flames, okay? Then again
it is your own opinion. R&R please!
