~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Vash's eyes flashed as
he walked into the town of Tokyo, Japan. He could tell something was going
to take place that day. Maryal and Millie were no where to be found and the
sun was blistering hot. Vash stepped over to the shop, where a younger
blonde haired woman sat.
"Excuse me, miss." The emerald eyed, Vash smiled politely. He leaned against the wooden counter as he waited for the maiden to notice he was there. The girl innocently looked up with joy. Her purple eyes shinning brightly in the warm glare of the sun.
"Oh, I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to make you wait so long." The girl smiled on. "Do you need something? I can get it for you now if you would like," She said kindly with a pleasant and friendly voice. Vash jolted his head slightly and looked at a menu, showing what they sold there. He looked for a few more minutes before he decided.
"Yes, I would like three dozen doughnuts," Vash replied as he looked back at the blonde haired woman. The girl frowned for moment and began to laugh. There was something he didn't notice about the girl. Something was so familiar about her that he couldn't pick out.
"Okay, Vash the Stampede." The girl giggled as her purple eyes looked more of a blue and violet now as the sun faded a bit. Vash looked at her in surprise. How did she know who he was and why did she look so familiar?
"Mm? I'm sorry do I know you? You look awfully familiar and I can't seem to remember why," Vash said trying to be very cautious in case it was one of his enemies. The girl smiled as Vash frowned.
"Don't you remember me? You asked to marry me and I told you that you could sleep outside my window." The girl cheerfully said once more. Vash smiled and laughed.
"Oh, it's you, Emily. I thought Knives sent you I was all worried over nothing. How dare you worry me like that!" Vash hadn't seen Emily in a while and now he found her in a shop as a worker. It wasn't like he still didn't want to marry her either. He had all the same interest in her as the day he met her.
"Bingo! I was wondering when you'd notice it's me. I would never get near that mean brother of yours. Don't worry I know he's a meany!" Emily said as she handed Vash his three dozen doughnuts. "I guess I'll be seeing you around now that you know I work here." Emily kindly finished as her sweet violet eyes changed to a now to be loving blue.
"Yes, I guess so." Vash's voice carried his words through the wind as the sun went down, Emily went home, and Vash had eaten his doughnuts and was back where he belonged, with Millie and Maryal.
