This is a poem about the couple Ryou and Bakura. In case you can't figure it out, Bakura died and Ryou decides to commit suicide to reach him. This has angst. Also, I feel as though the start of this poem is really weak. Could you please help me fix it up? I like the middle part (when the lines get longer) and then I'm not too sure I need the last stanza. So could you please help me??? I'm begging!
I do not own YGO.
The sound that fills the walls
Empty house, empty soul
There's only me in the void
Me and windows and mirrors
My reflection- reflection of you
Surrounded on all sides
The memories you made me hide
Of when you lied
Of when we cried
And then you died.
With me on my own
Left all alone,
Alone in our home
Hiding in my closet
Breathing in your scent
Covering shattered porcelain
With shattered glass
Into a mass so high
It topples out the windows toward the sky
Just like I try again and again try
To fall, but you always catch me
Knowing what's best for me
Till I sweep up the rest of our dreams
With the glass and the memories
And I know I can reach you if I just jump in
Feeling the sharp shards sink into my skin
Shards of so many dreams
That you thought I could dream alone.
Love, you were so wrong.
All I hear are sirens
And all I taste is blood
And all I see are booted feet
And all I feel is agony.
And I know I'm forever gone from you.
