Dreams

The pain that grips you The fear that binds you Releases life in me In our mutual Shame we hide our eyes To blind them from the truth That finds a way from who we are

It was a beautiful night. It passed in a million sweet moments of entangled flesh. How hard it was to resist. Those gray eyes that once bore into her soul now scared her far more. Even though the moon was shining, it was one she didn't want to come. She had to tell him. It had started so innocently. She glanced at him across the room and they locked. She succumbed to his charms and now she had fallen.

Draco knew she was looking at him, he felt her eyes all day. He was hesitant to know the urgency that lay in those longing looks. For weeks he had denied his feelings, it was a game; it wasn't supposed to work out this way.

Can't wash it all away Can't wish it all away Can't cry it all away Can't scratch it all away

Hermione took a long shower, intermingled with tears. She wanted no part of this; it wasn't supposed to work in this manner. She was now bound to him in more ways imaginable. One look, one touch, one night, a shared hell.

"Dear Draco,

Meet me in the Owlry at midnight, make sure you are alone.
-Hermione"

Draco crumpled the letter so that nobody could see it. He was apprehensive but willing.

Lying beside you Listening to you breathe The life that flows inside of you Burns inside of me

Her watch read 12:15 before she finally heard the soft fall of footsteps on the floor. He looked so beautiful in the shining moonlight. She was thrilled.

"Hello,"

"What do you want?", he said curtly, "We had a deal Granger". He saw her face wince slightly at the sound of her surname.

"You", she said concisely, "Just you"

Cast me not away Say you'll be with me For I know I cannot Bear it all alone

Once again they lay entangled, inhaling his scent with a sigh. There was no escaping it. Their senses were ripped at the seams of reason and rationality. The only sense in the universe measured up to this one moment.

Can't fight it all away Can't hope it all away Can't scream it all away It just won't fade away, No

"This is crazy Granger, it doesn't make sense"

"I know, I think that is why I need it", Draco eyed the lollipop that Hermione was slowly licking.

Draco shyly came from behind a coop with an owl suit on. "Now, turn around," Hermione snapped a picture of Draco doing the funky chicken. She quickly cursed him into a full body bind.

"That's for taking my last cherry lollipop", she flipped around and left him to be laughed at.

Panting heavily, Draco woke up with a start. "What a weird dream, he thought to himself. He reached for his teddy bear. "Who's Granger??" He wondered. Draco Malfoy was excited to start his first day of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the next day.
