A/N: This is a COMPLETE story! Plz review!
Lizzie and Gordo made their way down the stairs from the rooftop.
"Hey, Gordo?" Asked Lizzie.
"Yeah?" Asked Gordo.
"Thanks a lot. I couldn't have done my performance without you!"
"No problem! Anything for my best friend!" Replied Gordo.
Lizzie smiled.
"Uuummm... We better get back to that party eh? I mean, my parents are gonna start to worry!" Lizzie got into the elevator after Gordo. There was an awkward silence between the two for a few seconds.
"Uh... Ya! I mean you're already grounded!" Gordo tried to make a joke. "What was that kiss for?" Lizzie could tell right away that Gordo was kind of embarrassed.
"For being such a great friend," Lizzie frowned. No, that wasn't it. You don't go around kissing people just because they're a great friend.
Gordo's POV:
Great. She kissed me because Im a great friend! Its not because she likes me! Why do you even get your hopes up, David Gordon? Somebody like Lizzie would NEVER be able to like somebody like me! Hmm... her lips are so shiny from the lip-gloss. I wonder why chicks dig that? Oh-no! Now Im sounding like Ethan!!!!!
Lizzie smiled at Gordo. The elevator stopped now.
"Uh, Gordo? Aren't those your PARENTS?!" cried Lizzie.
"What?! No way! My parents would never come here!" Gordo paused. "Okay, maybe they would!"
They both walked up to Gordo's parents.
"Hi Mom! Hi Dad! What are you doing here?" Asked Gordo.
"Well, we caught the flight after Lizzie's parents flight. They told us something was happening in Rome, and we decided we needed to look out for you, David." Gordo's Dad explained. "Great! That's what you get when your parents are shrinks! You guys are so over-protective!" Gordo said first to Lizzie, then to his parents.
"Gordo, come with me to get a drink." Lizzie pulled him away.
When they got to the concession stand, Lizzie pulled Gordo off to the side.
"Gordo. Ive been thinking a lot about- 'The Kiss,' and it wasn't because you're my friend. I really like you." Lizzie confessed.
Then, Lizzie placed a hand on Gordo's face, and kissed him. He kissed back. In front of everyone! Lizzie and Gordo didn't care. She pulled him into a hug. For a while they just stood there hugging each other.
"Wow! Uh... Heh." Gordo bit his lip. Lizzie smiled. They walked away, holding hands. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"Hey Dad! I just wanted to let you know that our chaperone is making us go to bed. Except Lizzie." Gordo said to his parents who were in the middle of dancing.
"Okay. We will stay here another week though, with the McGuires!" Said Gordo's Dad.
"Oh, and by the way?" Started Gordo's Mom, "I like that lip gloss! It looks better on Lizzie though!" Mrs.Gordon said as she and her husband laughed. Mr.Gordon winked at his son.
Gordo smirked, knowing that he was busted. Maybe fairytale endings don't happen in movies. They can happen in real life too.
