He had no idea why she had called him, requesting to speak to him.

But she had.

"You wanted to see me?"

"Yeah, come in. Close the door behind you."

He did as she asked without question, not knowing what was about to come to him.

She got up from the chair that she was sitting on, and crossed to him, standing about eight inches away.

She looks up into his eyes and he watches as she slowly licks her lips, her eyes never leaving his.

She just looks so relaxed; it's hard for him to keep the distance between them.

Was it his imagination, or did she just lean in a little bit?

She reaches up slowly to cup his cheek, while her other hand plays softly on his neck.

Their lips meet softy, gently, but with a hint of passion.

She kisses the top of his lip, followed by the edge of his bottom lip. There's no rushing whatsoever in the action.

They seem to simultaneously open their mouths, softly exploring each other.

Breathing is never forgotten; it can't be in a situation like this.

Her hands seem to know exactly what he likes; one is playing on his shoulder, the other traveling down his arm and then around his back. She then pulls herself closer.

After a few minutes, their tongues part, and they're lips are slightly touching.

Then, as soon as it began, it was over.

As he looks into her eyes, he sees a sparkle there that he wouldn't normally see.

The placement of her hands and the look in her eyes are both enough to get him to lean in for another, but just at that time, the klaxons go off, ruining the moment.

"Unscheduled off-world activation."

"Looks like its back to work." he states.

"Yeah, it is." She sadly replies.
