MODERN ERA
"Shinen! Youkai!" yelled out a young woman as she strung an arrow at a silver
haired youkai. The arrow had turned into a pink comet which had the color blue swirled
around it. It hit the youkai directly, making it pinned against a large oak tree.
The young woman had dark ebony hair that was tied up in a high ponytail. Her
dark blue orbs looked at the youkai with disgust and anger. She wore a bluish-grey
hakama and a white haori (A/n: Tell me if I got those two messed up). On her haori red
blood spread, which started from her right shoulder.
"BITCH!" shouted the youkai. "How dare you do this?!"
The woman just looked down at the ground, spilling tears to the ground. "This
wouldn't happen..." She began. "If you didn't... betray me." She had a hard time talking
for she was losing consciousness. The youkai was stunned and soon fell into eternal sleep.
The girl began trudging towards where the youkai lied. Blood dripping down to
the ground from the fatal wound. "Why?" Whispered she. "Why did you have to do
this?" She then fell against the youkai.
"Hn," Said a figure on a tree branch. He had black spiky-hair with a white streak
running through it, and he wore a black cloak with a sword underneath it.
He gracefully jumped to the ground a few feet away from them. He calmly
walked towards them. His eyes glued on a necklace the girl wore around her neck. The
necklace was surrounded with white beads, but that was not what he was looking at. It
was the pink round jewel. It had emitted power, and it was calling him. The jewel so
tempting to take, and the spiky-haired figure slowly walked towards it.
He was now near it, and with one hand, he inched it towards the jewel. "Hiei."
The now known figure, Hiei, broke out of the trance that he had with the jewel.
"What is it, Kurama?" Coolly asked Hiei.
Kurama looked at his friend. He had seen how he slowly enched his hand towards
the jewel. He had noted to himself to take the jewel from the girl and research it. "Take
the girl to Reikai. Koenma probably wants to the girl. I'll just examine what kind of
energy she had used to put on this youkai." Hiei glared at him but did what he was told
and brought the girl to Reikai.
