A/N: This just randomly came to my mind several weeks ago. I'd been talking with my co-writer about my other fic (The Missing Child) when I thought up this one. At first it was going to be a one-shot but now its a long one. I own nothing except Katy and the plot. Everything else belongs to Aaron Sorkin and his crew at NBC.

"Josh!" CJ Cregg yelled as she walked towards her office.
"Crap. Somehow she was destined to find out about this fundraiser." mumbled Josh Lyman as he took off running from his office to catch up with a furious CJ. " Who's idea was this anyway?" he said to no one in particular.
"You wanted to see me, CJ?" he asked as soon as he caught up with her.
"Yes, hold on a second. Carol, would you schedule a meeting with the Senior White House Staff at 2pm?... It's about that thing coming up." That thing was a fundraiser for a local disease awareness group that the First Lady supported. At this fundraiser, there was to be a talent show and, unfortunately, the staff had been required to perform in it.
"CJ, calm down. Besides, the fundraiser is only..."
"Two weeks away. Yes, I know, Josh. But since the staff has been required to perform, including Zoey, Danny, and Katy, I need to tell them now so that they can get ready." said CJ.
"2pm in the meeting room. Anything else?" asked Josh as he was about to leave.
"No. I just need to get my thoughts together or else this won't be a good thing to have happen to me."
"Claudia Jean, what the livin' did I just literally get hauled out of school for? This had better be a good thing." said Kathryn, CJ's younger sister.
"This is probably going to be a good thing only in your eyes, Katy. There's a fundraiser coming up and..." CJ trailed off.
"Lemme guess. it's a talent show and everyone, including Zoey, Danny, and myself, are required to perform in it." answered Katy smartly.
"Exactly. Wait, how did you know?"
"Sam told me when I got here. He said you were in a bit of a mood because of it. Havin' a hard time figuring out how to tell the rest of them."
"Yep. I've already scheduled a meeting at 2pm which would explain the reason why you were pulled out of school so early. Ok, so did Sam tell you who already knows?"
"Yes. You, me, Sam, Josh, and Mrs. Bartlet."
"Oh crap. That means no Leo, Toby, Donna, Danny, Charlie, or Zoey?". CJ sighed. "Leo and Toby aren't going to be real happy about this. Wait, does Mallory or the President know about this?"
Katy grimaced. "I'm not too sure about that. I'll go ask."
"All right. Go ahead and do that so I can get my thougths together. Now do you mind leaving?"
"Will do, Ms. Cregg," said Katy, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
"Sometimes, I really hate that child's thoughts." CJ thought as she watched her sister walk out of her office.
A/N: I'll probably be entering more in the next several days since I have already written up through the eigth chapter. R & R plz!
