Inu Yasha No Yume
Chapter 5 - Attack
"Houshi-sama!" An exhausted looking guard burst through the door. "Houshi-sama!"
An annoyed Inu Yasha sat by the opening to the men's chambers. The Tettsusaiga in his hand; he stood.
"What is it?" He growled.
"There's at least 200 Youkai outside." His voice rang with panic, "And they're headed right for us."
"Keh!" Inu Yasha growled, standing slowly up.
Already, Miroku, Shippou, Sango, and Kagome were up and dressed. Yume wore a simple yukata simple, cotton, summer, kimono, weapon drawn.
Inu Yasha stepped aside as they filed out of the three-room suite. First Miroku, Shippou, Kirara, Sango, Yume, and Kagome. As Yume placed a foot out the door, Inu Yasha pulled her back in.
"You," He grumbled, "stay here."
Kagome and Sango nodded their agreement and Kagome stepped around Yume, Inu Yasha close behind them.
The door slammed and the crinkle of spell-papers being placed on the door sealed her in. Yume was alone in the darkness. With a sigh, she lit a lamp and sat at the table where there was some tea brewing. Shakily, she poured herself a cup.
