A/n: Well here goes chapter 5 . . . well I know that my chapters have been pretty boring so far, but I'm going to make it lead up to something I promise, I just want it to be a long story compared to the rest of my fics, although this chapter will be quite short! Well keep your reviews coming I appreciate them all.

"Hunter, let it go" Sky told me

"She's 15, she's still my little girl Sky"

I rolled my eyes, just because she was with a different guy every five minutes, I didn't want my daughter to be like that.

"Hunter, did you see how she reacted to that guy, you of all people should know what that means, remember what you told me when you first saw Morgan, and then you quickly tried to cover it up again by saying how much she "irritates you" come on Hunter, she's not your little girl anymore at all, she's growing up and you've got to respect that she'll need space, besides she isn't even going out with the guy, she stared at him a little in a 'Muffin shop' there's no need for to overreact"

I nodded, she was right, it's not as if she was sleeping with him or anything, I breathed and calm down.

"You're right, you're right" I sighed, "I need to be calm for the circle tonight anyway, they'll be here in half an hour"

Sky laughed, "What?" I asked

"You" she said, "Your too over protective, you going to be a parent like Mary Grace was aren't you?"

Mary Grace, Morgan's mum, she's catholic and set tight curfews for Morgan, much to my disliking, and she wasn't allowed boys in the house. I sighed again, I guess I knew why she behaved like that now.

10 minutes later Moira came downstairs to help us prepare the snacks for after the circle and shortly after that a few people had begun to arrive.

Bree, Robbie and Morgan were first to arrive, followed by Matt and Jenna Adler (who had gotten back together and married) with their 13-year-old son Jason, Ethan Sharp and Sharon Goodfine were next, they were still together, not engaged or anything but still tight, Charlie and Alisa Fingold came next, the were recently married and Alisa is about 5 months pregnant, then came Simon Bakehouse and his wife Daria who'd got involved with the craft after meeting him, Thalia was no longer with us, then Raven came with her 14 year old daughter Alex, she was a single mother, hardly surprising.

"What the hell is she doing here?" she yelled as soon as she saw Sky.

"Nice to see you again too Raven, miss me?" Sky replied trying to be a cool and calm as she could

"Don't flatter yourself," Raven said in a bored tone, "Whatever" she headed over to get some hot cider.

"Who was that mom?" I heard her daughter ask, but Raven never replied

What a lovely reunion I thought, Raven has not changed one bit since I have first met her, except when she was dating Sky and then she changed again afterwards.

A few more members had joined since then such as Georgia Pryce (who was a friend of Moira and Morgan's) and Will Hudson and his girlfriend Lisa Jefferson they were both blood witches from the Burnhide clan, and moved to Widow's Vale about 7 years ago a friend of mine, Alyce, owns an occult bookstore and she suggested they should join our coven.

"Can we make a start?" I said rounding the coven together,

Suddenly I sensed 2 blood witches come up the walk, one was the same blood witch Moira had been eyeing up in the muffin place earlier, Oh goddess what did he want? I wondered, the other man was older, maybe a little older than me.

I looked over at Moira and saw her face light up, then I looked at Sky and she just raised her eyebrows and gave me a comical look.

"Excuse me," I said heading for the door.

I opened the door for them, "We're not too late are we?" Said the older man, I noticed he had an Irish accent

"Why? Can I help you?" I asked not trying to sound rude

"Yes," said the man, "We're new to town and we spoke to a friend of yours, Alyce Fernbrake, she suggested that we could join your coven, I'm Richard O'Connell and this is my son Tim, we're Brightendale's"

"I'm Hunter Niall"

I couldn't turn them away, "Hey, have I seen you somewhere before?" Tim said

"No" I replied evenly

"Yes, in the muffin shop earlier, you we're at that table with that pretty lass" he smiled, "She your daughter?"

"Yes"

"Nice" he smiled

I had to let them in to be charitable; it's not in my nature to turn people away just because one of them has a thing for my daughter.

"Okay come in, we were just about to start"

I led them through to our conservatory, "Kithic, this is Richard and Tim O'Connell they're new to Widow's Vale, they've come to witness a circle with us to see if they would like to join"

Everybody said hello then Tim instantly went to stand beside Moira which made me a little uncomfortable, and if it weren't for Sky's droll expression I would have gone and stood in between them, calm yourself Niall! I told myself

~*~ How's that for fate? ~*~ I heard Sky laugh in my head

~*~ Shut up ~*~ I sent back

"Let's begin,"

After the circle I saw Tim talk with Moira and I felt the calmness from the circle fade away.

"Nice circle tonight Niall, we might consider sticking with you" Richard said, "look at our young 'un's over there, don't they make a sweet couple" that didn't help my mood any better.

"Thank you Richard, glad you enjoyed it," I said then walked in the kitchen to get myself a cider.

"You managed that well" I heard Bree behind me coming to fill her cup.

I turned around, "What are you talking about"

"You couldn't cut the tension with a knife, the way you kept glaring at that poor boy," she laughed, then she switched her face to a serious look, and she put her hand on mine, "He's not like Cal,"

My jaw clenched at the name, my bastard half brother Cal, tricked my Morgan into loving him for his mother's dark purposes, I suddenly realised that, that was the reason I was very wary of the boy,

"I just don't like to see history repeat itself that's all"

"Trust me it won't" she reassured, "All I'm saying is that they seem to really like each other, get to know the boy first, before you decide he's evil, well tonight was great, I'll see you next week if not before,"

She headed out.

When I next entered the circle room quite a few people had left, Raven was one of the first to go, not surprising me at all.

Richard was talking to Sky and I looked over at Moira and Tim, they were staring into each other's eyes, then Moira laughed as if Tim had told a joke.

I walked over there, "Did you enjoy the circle?" I asked Tim

"Yea Mr Niall, you do a good circle, I enjoyed it," he said smiling at Moira

Yeah I'm sure that's why he enjoyed the circle, goddess Niall calm yourself!

"Good, next week?" he nodded

"Tim? Come on son" Richard called from the door, I looked around and noticed everyone else had gone.

"Well I better go, I'll look out for you at school tomorrow, bye Moira, goodbye Mr Niall"

"Bye!" Moira smiled brightly

"Bye" I replied, he didn't seem too bad. . . I told myself, you're working yourself up for nothing.

I made sure they'd gone when I turned to my daughter.

"You liked him huh?"

She rolled her eyes, "I'm surprised he didn't runaway tonight after the looks you gave him,"

"I'm sorry, I just didn't want history to repeat itself" I said realising straight away I shouldn't have said that, Moira didn't know about all that and I wanted to keep it that way at least for the foreseeable future.

"Dad, I'm not you and mom" she said, she had thought I meant how we were parted to soon, how wrong was she.
