A/n: Sorry it's pretty boring so far; I promise I'm leading up to
something! At the minute I am really angry with Fanfiction (bet you guys
are too) about not being able to log on, read stories, receive reviews,
they're saying they're fixing it and are slowly sending them to us – I got
mailed the same review 30 god damn times!
Hey ho never mind. . . just had to get my anger out!
I'm rolling on with the next chapter. . . hope you like!

On Monday at school, all day long I kept thinking about last night and Tim, I kept my eyes open and looked out for him all day with no luck whatsoever.
Dad and Sky came to pick us up from school that day, even though it was only a five-minute walk.
"Did you have a nice day a school girls?" Sky asked us
"Yeah thanks Sky" Morgan replied
"It was school, so nothing special," I laughed
"Dad?" I asked in the car on the way home?
"Yes?"
"Is it okay if Morgan stays the night?"
My dad being the great guy he was nodded, "I don't see why not, just call you parents and tell them where you are"
"Okay, thanks Mr Niall" she said,
No matter how much I tell her, she still calls my dad Mr Niall, I call her parents Bree and Robbie why didn't she just use my dad's name?
I sensed something off, and then I sensed my dad casting out his senses and strongly.
"What is it dad?" I asked
"I'm not sure," he replied, "It's probably nothing" he shrugged it of so I turned to Morgan and started a conversation to break the tension.
"So did you think of a name for your new puppy?" I asked
"Well no, dad wants to call it 'Fido' or something pathetic like that, mom wants to call it 'muffin' because he looks like one he's this cute golden Labrador, and I thought about calling him 'Ben' nice and simple.
I ginned, "Ah well, he'll have a name soon because I'll just give him one" we both laughed.
The car then pulled up outside our house. I was the last out, by the time everybody else was inside, I was still coming up the walk, I took a quick side wards glance and saw something glistening in the grass.
"Moira? Are you coming?" I heard my dad asked as he stood in the doorway
"Yeah, hold on a second, I see something."
My dad frowned and came closer to me, "What is it?" he asked
I picked it up, it was three rings tied together with a piece of string – one was a silver claddagh ring (a heart being held by two hands and topped with a crown) with the rune beorc engraved on it, a gold band with a Celtic knot design running along it with a beautiful diamond in the middle and then a gold band that looked like a wedding ring.
"What is it Moira?" my dad asked
"These rings" I handed them to him to look at.
His expression scared me, he went pale, white as a sheet of paper, his eyes went wide and his jaw clenched.
"What is it dad?"
"Moira get inside" he growled he said as he flung out his senses
"Dad? Are you okay? What is it?" he came inside and cast a protection spell on the house.
Instead of answering me he turned to Morgan, "Do you have a house key? I think it'll be best if you go home, Sky would you?" she nodded
"Come on then chuck," she said
"I'll ring you later Moira, bye"
Then she and Sky left to take Morgan home, my dad led me into the kitchen, we sat at the table and he put the rings in front of me.
"Dad you're acting really weird, you're scaring me, what is going on?" I asked
He drew in a deep breath, "Next week is your mother's 15th anniversary," he said slowly
So what I knew all this, "Yes, I know, what is going on?"
"These rings belonged to her, her wedding ring, her engagement ring, and this claddagh ring, which I gave her when she was 17."
This was weird, "How did they get in our garden?"
He shook his head, "I don't know!"
I grew really concerned about my father, he was really sensitive on the subject of my mother anyway, this must be killing him.
"Dad, it's okay," I said reaching over the table and I took his handing sending him my support.
He smiled at me, "Shall we scry?" I nodded.
We headed to our conservatory, which we use to hold our circles and magickal rituals; we found it was a good room to work magick in.
My father took his lueg, I didn't know what element I scry with yet, I've not long been initiated and I haven't really tried on my own, my dad uses stone and he told me that my mother used fire, she must have been really powerful because not a lot of witches can successfully scry with fire.
We drew a circle around with us, we both stared deep into the stone feeling ourselves fall into meditation.
"Show Me," I told the stone, "Show us what we need to see, where did the rings come from?"
The images I got were rushed, I saw a picture of my mother and my dad when they were teenagers kissing, at this I felt a little embarrassed, then I saw my dad proposing to my mother with the same ring I had found today, and then I saw them on their wedding day, and on the day I was born looking down at me with pride, then the memories stopped and we saw the ocean which switched to an image of a wolf, and then a hawk
"What was that?" I asked, "That was nothing but memories, then the ocean a wolf and a hawk? What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
My dad remained silent, oh he better not give me the silent treatment I wanted answers and I needed them now!
"Dad?" I said "Please tell me now!"
"Well, there's a lot you don't know about your mother" he pursed his lips together,
"What do you mean?" I asked, "You said that my mom was a good woodbane
witch and she was adopted into aunt Mary K's family and she didn't
know about being a blood witch until she was 16"
My father nodded, "That's true, it's just I've not told you everything about her and I think you're old enough now to know"
"To know what dad?" I sighed getting pretty tired of repeating the
same thing over and over again, then I remembered something he said
last night about me and Tim and realised he wasn't talking about him
and my mother, just the look on his face told me so
"Last night when you said you didn't want history to repeat itself,
what did you mean, really?"
He sighed, stood up and let me to the living room, "Tea?" he offered
"Stop stalling, spill"
