Sunflower = Adoration
A/N: Hello! It's nice to meet you. Before we get started I would like to say a few things; Number one: this is my very first fanfiction, so please, no flames. Number 2: this fanfiction is based on Kagome and her life in college. Don't worry, I'm not going to ignore the fact that the Shikon No Tama is not complete. So without further ado, I present to you: Flower = Adoration! Enjoy.

Chp.1 - Dinner Plans
"These college uniforms are even worse than our high school uniforms," Kagome complained to her friend Yuka. "You'd think we could at least wear our own clothes... Blazers and blue/purple checkered skirts... It's sorta embarrassing, ya know?"
"I know, they are so last year," Yuka said giggling.
"Tell me about it."
Kagome smiled at her friend. It had been such a long time since she had hung out with her friends. No, friend. Arimi had moved to Kyoto during the fall and Eri had moved to America during the summer. Now all she had left were Yuka and Sango. Kagome inwardly sighed. It was so hard to believe she would be attending college soon. After her grandpa's death, Kagome felt she would never be her old self again. She was glad that she had two great friends that cared so much about her.
"Kagome," Yuka asked worriedly. "Are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine." She said smiling warmly at her.
Yuka grinned. "Good because I think we're going to be late for dinner at the--"
"Whhhhhaaaaattttt! We're going to be late!"
Kagome sat up from her lying position on the futon and ran downstairs. "Six o'clock!" *Damnit! We don't have time for this!* She gritted her teeth and grabbed her car keys. "Come on Yuka! Hurry it up!" A knowing Yuka walked down the stairs patiently.
"Kagome--"
"What? how can you stand there like that? don't you know we're going to be late? come on, HURRY!"
"Kagome, dinner isn't until seven."
"Eh," Kagome sweatdropped. "Oh, haha..."
A/N: Sorry about making the chapter so short. I promise the next one will be longer! Reviews are always welcome... Oh and happy Easter!
