Dear Journal,
Well, this is it. My very first entry. I spent seven sickles for you, journal, so fail me not. And your anti break-spell had better work. I don't want another Kayla incident, and have to fish you out of the strawberry jam. Anywhoo, I really have nothing to say at the moment. But I had better introduce myself, in case someone finds this in archaeological ruins and wants to find out more about life for a witch in the 20th century. So here it is.
Well, for beginners, my real name is Manoa McClasky. If you really wanted to know, my name is derived from the ancient cooking witch, Manoa Muddledipper. Mother has always wanted me to become a cooking witch, because she can't cook at all. Unfortunately, she has passed on her genes to me, and I am one to spoil top o' ramen. Which is pretty bad, especially for a young witch like me. Anyway, because the Manoa name doesn't work, people call me Fiona. It sounds so much more sophisticated, and older. So to everyone, I am known as Fiona McClasky.
I have strawberry blonde hair and lots of freckles. I recently tried a shining spell to try to make my hair shine and look blonde-er, but it worked too well. My hair ended up looking like it was dipped in oil, and I had to go to the hairdresser to fix it. So now it is just plain old strawberry blonde. I'm thinking of dyeing it a bit redder, however, to match Fred and George Weasley's. They are oh-so dashing. I saw them in the halls a lot last year, and I actually talked to Fred once. Actually I'm not sure if it was Fred, perhaps George. But either one will suit me.
Oh yes, I go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I can't wait for Hogwarts, only 2 more days! I am in the same year as Fred and George, but only recently transferred from a muggle school, because I kept on making things go odd. Of course mother knew that I was a witch, but she couldn't afford tuition for a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, my uncle recently got a raise, and decided to support me, since I was expelled from St. Bertruda's School for Young girls. I accidentally set Ms. MgGill's hat on fire. It was quite a disaster. Also, I have a hidden talent for the care of magical creatures, and Hagrid himself said I would be a good gamekeeper. But I'm not sure about the whole gamekeeper idea. I would much rather be a cosmetologist. Oh well, I can't have talent for everything.
Well, I'm tired of writing about myself. I tend to be a boring subject at times. I am just happy to be able to go back to Hogwarts, and see the Weasley twins again. I might even be able to join the quidditch team! Ooh, that would be heaven. I could go to practice with the Weasley twins! Actually, I would go for Ron if he weren't younger than me. He and Harry and Hermione, always making the news. Well, they are a bunch of young upstarts. Oh, I'm sorry journal, I'm blabbing again. So please, anti- break in spell, work. Hmmm....I might invest in invisible ink as well. I'll put it on my back to school list.

*author's note: I am not dating the entries because it is too complicated. And If I don't get all the information about Hogwarts right, please don't bug me. Well, I can't think of anything else to say. Have a nice day.*
