A\N: Sorry for my lack of updates. I had two chapters written. I'm finally
adding them to this site. Ok.
Chapter 2 of "The Big Fight!"
All the looks upon Mary, Matt, Lucy, and Ruthie's faces were shocked expressions. Matt's jaw was dropped open, his eyes wide. Mary's face was twisted into a half angry half shocked look. Ruthie and Lucy, on the other hand, had more upset shocked looks on their face, and both looked as if they wanted to break into a mound of tears.
"Do you mean it!?" Ruthie screamed loudly, tears forming in her eyes.
"Yeah, sadly I do." Simon said, feeling the terrible feeling he felt before when he yelled at his parents before, return.
"WHAT THE HECK, THIS CAN'T BE TRUE?!" Matt fumed, feeling enraging anger overtake him.
Lucy, who was now slumped into a corner in Simon's room crying softly, cut in, ignoring Matt's angry outburst. "Why, why are they fighting?" She asked, with more tears forming in her eyes.
"I'm not sure why, but I heard them fighting all day long, in fact I've heard them fighting for quite awhile." Simon stated.
"Wait, how did you hear them all day long, weren't you in school?" Matt questioned Simon.
"Because, I was sick to my stomach from hearing them fight, that's why Matt!" Simon yelled angrily to his older brother.
"Oh, I'm sorry I had no idea." Matt said, silently lowering his head.
Lucy was still crying in corner. Her tears grew harder by the minute. Pouring out of her eyes in thick, heavy drops.
Ruthie went over by her older sister. "Lucy, are you ok?" She asked, tears coming out of her own eyes.
Mary had not said anything since Simon had made the terrible announcement; she just stood there, an angry look formed upon her face. She looked as if she were ready to kill. Sure, she might have just been standing there, but the look on her face was pure anger.
Matt approached her slowly. "Mary?" He asked quietly.
"What?!" Mary spat out; a deep enragement filled her voice.
"Are you ok?" Matt asked, trying to sound clam.
"Am I ok?! AM I Ok?! AM I OK?!" Mary fumed. "NO, I'M NOT OK, I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MOM AND DAD ARE FIGHTING AND YOU'RE ASKING ME IF I'M OK!!!!" Mary raged.
"Ok, I'm sorry. I know how you feel. You're feeling hurt, so am I." Matt said in counseling tone, trying to clam his sister down.
Mary seemed to clam down after hearing this. "I guess your right, I do feel hurt. And you know what? I'm not going to just stand here, I'm going to go talk to them." Mary said, beginning to walk of the room.
Simon quickly grabbed her arm. "No, I think it'd be better if I talked to them, because you have all of that excess anger in you right now, plus, I know of the situation better." Simon said.
"Ok." Mary agreed, deciding it was the best obvious choice.
"How about you guys, is it ok if I talk to Mom and Dad about this?" Simon asked, looking at his four other siblings.
"Ok." They all agreed, not really knowing what else to say.
Simon walked out of his room. Leaving Matt trying to clam down an angered Mary. And Lucy and Ruthie, hugging each other, crying.
Simon was walking towards his parent's room. He began to feel sick to his stomach again. He quickly darted into the bathroom and leaned over the toilet, all of the food he had managed to eat that day, came pouring out of his stomach, up his throat, and into the toilet.
"Mom, Dad!" Simon called out to his parents, hoping they'd hear him and come into the bathroom.
