//Cut you//

Vaughn watched Sydney lying in the hospital bed, a red

cut glaring across her jaw. Monitors beeped and a

green line showed her steady heartbeat. A nurse had

just been by to check her vitals and the IV. He

squeezed her hand softly, then turned and walked out

the door, a whisper hanging in the air.

"I love you."

//Pain you//

Irina turned and looked at her daughter, standing in

the far end of the alley. She blew her a kiss, then

ran

away and was lost in the narrow streets of Rome.

Sydney walked over to where she had stood and picked

up the piece of paper Irina had dropped.

"I love you."

//Dragged you through.//

Jack watched his daughter being interrogated about

the two years she couldn't remember, a helpless look

on her face when she failed to retrieve the

information they wanted. He put his hand on the glass

that separated them, and spoke softly before

disappearing down the hall.

"I love you."

//Do//

Lauren slept peacefully beside her, one arm slung

around Sydney's waist, who let herself be lulled to

sleep by Lauren's steady breathing.

//not forgive//

Lauren walked towards her and set her glass down, then

sat down on Sydney's lap, wrapping her arms around

her neck, while Syd sneaked her arms around her

waist. She smiled before placing soft kisses on

Sydney's lips. The kiss grew deeper as Lauren pushed

Sydney down on the couch, smiling mischievously.

//them,//

Lauren and Sydney walked on a beach, holding hands.

Lauren smiled and leaned in to whisper something to

Sydney, eliciting a wide smile and a kiss from the

brunette.

//they know what//

Lauren smiled as Sydney helped her put on a necklace.

She kissed her lightly on the lips and hugged her,

eyes sparkling.

/they//

Lauren gasped, hands clenching the sheets, her hips

arched above the bed. Sydney's fingers kept their

pace as she watched Lauren go over the edge.

//do.//

Lauren in an abandoned warehouse, hugging Sydney tight

after another risky mission didn't work out quite as

planned. They kissed urgently, until Lauren pulled

back, and brushed a strand of hair away from Sydney's

face, caressing her jaw. A tear betrayed her,

tracing it's way down her cheek. She cupped Lauren's

face, wiping the tear away with her thumb. Lauren

looked up, her hands still around Sydney's waist. She

whispered softly.

"I love you."

Sydney smiled, kissing Lauren quickly, looking into

her eyes.

"I love you too."
