"I love your new house, Sean!" Emma exclaimed.

Emma was investigating Sean's brand new house. Finally, Sean had moved into his own house. And best of all, the house he moved into—42 Milton Street—was so huge and he Sean got it for a great price. Sean had just finished getting all the furniture into his house. Now, his house was finished.

"The dining room looks so romantic," said Emma. "So, anyway, what happened to the people who used to live here?"

"The realtor," began Sean. "Named Molly Carson told me that at least two houndred years ago, someone in the Degrassi family moved into the house. The daughter died mysteriously, and then something happened to the girl's parents. I don't know. But whatever happened, the house is all mine now.

"Sean...," mumbled Emma. "You don't think this house might be haunted, do you?"

"No way," said Sean. "C'mon, you need to stop believing in ghosts. It's obvious they don't exist."

Emma sighed. "I'm going to check out the basement," she said. Sean heard her walk down the basement stairs. After a minute or two, he heard Emma scream.

"EMMA!" Sean shouted. He quickly ran down the basement stairs. He took a look at Emma—and gasped.
