**~~~I'm Nothing Without You~~~** By Raye

In the silent night Serena stood on the balcony watching the stars dance upon the wings of eternal darkness. Her long golden hair shivered in the subtle whispers of the wind.

She dreamed of her love, her one and only.

"Where are you my darling? Darien?" she whispered lightheartedly...

It had been two years since they spent a lifetime of romance and passion together. Now Darien was in England studying Arts at a wonderful college.

They still kept in contact, letters, email, telephone, everything. It still just wasn't the same without his strong arms keeping her safe and warm.

She looked to the night sky once more; if she looked into the stars deep enough she could almost see his face.

His delicate cheeks, his warm eyes, his ensuring smile. She could feel her heart beating heavily as she pictured herself in his arms once more. She loved him so much it hurt. And hurt it did.

Serena was jumped back into reality by the ring of the telephone. She ran to it desperately, hoping it was her Darien.

She picked up "Tsukino residence," slowly she continued, "Serena speaking."

The voice on the other line drew in. "Serena, hello, how are you?"

Instantly she knew the voice's beholder "Darien," she gasped, "How have you been? I miss you."

"I miss you too pumpkin, school is hard, but I'll return this summer, then well have the rest of eternity together!"

"Yes, but waiting feels like its eternal," her voice became raspy, "I just cant stand going on with out you any longer!"

"Nor can I, but its just a little longer, only a few months until the summer comes," He said cheerfully.

"I know, I... I just can't stand it, I love you, so much it hurts, and it hurts terrible. I don't know if I can bare this kind of pain any longer. Normally I would have given up, but for you... I'll go through anything..."

Serena looked out the window as she finished her sentence, and whispered

"For love I would do anything, for you I would do so much more, I'm nothing without you."

She drew silent, only the rustle of wind could be heard as it danced with the curtains that elegantly hung from their post. She blankly watched them dance as if they were people, dancing an act of triumph, their love.

"Serena are you there?"

Serena flinched back into reality as she realized she had dazed off.

"Oh, sorry I looked outside and I just blanked out..." She answered sleepily, not quite back to reality.

"I'm sorry love, but I've got to go, my telephone bill is going to be a nightmare," Darien replied, he was a little confused.
