-Title: Mon Amour (My Love in French)
-Author: Amanda (mandrini)
-Category: Romance; Sappy ass fluff.
-Rating: G
-Disclaimer: I am not associated or affiliated with Alias or its creators, producers, and cast & crew members. This story is not real at all and is the product of Amanda's overactive imagination and lack of a life. You can sue but you won't get much and you'll be stealing from my college education fund, damnit! That wouldn't be nice.

Sydney Bristow had lived one hell of a life - and she was barely in her prime. She had lived a life full of heartache, betrayal, and lies. But then, again, who hasn't?
He saved her.
She didn't like to think that was special, that just because she busted ass everyday serving her country, that she had any right to pretend that she was any different from the homemaker at home or the teacher at the school - but she knew she was.
Whenever she sat at her desk in the CIA offices, and would look up and meet his wondering gaze, she didn't like to think that she was the most beautiful girl in the room - but she knew she was.
When he held her at the times she felt like she had no reason to go on, and he would stare in her eyes and tell her how important she was, she didn't like to feel that she was so incredibly lucky - but she knew she was.
When he briefed her for missions and said phrases like 'I'm your ally. Never question that,' she didn't like to feel that what she found in this man was the greatest thing since sliced bread - but she knew it was.
She didn't like to be haughty. She didn't like to come off as snobby. She didn't like want to act like she was better then anyone, but whenever she walked down the street, with him by her side, she couldn't fight the grins whenever she spied a woman checking him out - she couldn't help it.
He was to be blamed.
When he kissed her, she felt everything disappear. Whenever she was on a mission, she could hear his voice telling her what to do, where to go and she always felt that she could conquer the world. When he held her, and she could feel the beating of his heart, she knew that it was beating for her - just like hers was. When he made love to her, his eyes never leaving hers, she felt like this was the best thing that happened to her - and it was.
At the end of the day, when she came home and had to share a story about the bank with her best friend, when she had to come up with a plausible reason about the newest bruise, all the lies consuming her - he made it bearable. When she thought about how Sloane and Sark was still out there - with her own mother, no less - and she wanted to hide under the covers for the rest of her life, he gave her courage to face her demons.
He owned her.
"Yoohoo! Syd? I've been trying to get your attention for the past five minutes? You all right?"
Sydney glanced up at him, and smiled at the worry lines creasing across his forehead. She nodded and pulled his arm over her chest, linking her fingers through his. "I'm all right."
"Good. Because the Kings are losing. What kind of bullshit is this? Seriously, man.."
She stared at the TV, at the men gliding across the ice in their destiny to control the small, black puck.
Yeah. This was the life.
