Bells

Remus Lupin was laying on a bed in one of the many spare bedrooms in 12 Grimmauld place. It was around noon and all the Weasleys were out shopping for the new school year, while Sirius moped about somewhere down stairs.
The sandy brown haired man rolled over on the dusty blanket covers with a sigh. Everyone knew he needed the peace and quiet but really, he longed for some company. He closed his eyes tight pushing away memories and tears that he'd been fighting for many lonely years as the clinking of bells came from a flight of stairs down. Bells? He sat up on the mattress tilting his head to the side, his eyes still closed. The sound was light and soft with no real tune to it, but Remus longed to know where it came from. The jingle of bells came nearer to him and made him forget his sadness, even if it was only just for a moment.
"Oh your awake!" the kind voice made Remus's eyes snap open.
"Ginny?" Remus stared at the youngest Weasley in shock at her the unexpected appearance, she and the others weren't suppose to be home until around four. She laughed at his confusion and waved a hand towards the clock that read 6:00 pm.
"Dinners ready" she said giving him a radiant smile. He half chuckled at how the time went by and he didn't even know it.
"I'll be down in a moment" Remus said while reaching for his boots. Ginny nodded to him and turned around, heading towards the door. Remus froze. He forgot all about the enchanting sound from earlier.
"Ginny," he said while eyeing the bracelet that had little silver bells dangling from it and how it sparkled in the light. Remus's gaze moved up from her wrist to her mocha colored eyes and smiled the most genuine smile he had in a while "you look really beautiful today."
Ginny smiled warmly her cheeks flushing red and affection glowing in her eyes.
The sad thoughts of war and the past were broken like silence is by the cheerful sound of bells. Remus and Ginny walked down stairs together, finally finding a moment of happiness.

A/N: Ok to me the ending sounds weak and Remus and Ginny seem out of character, but i pretty much wrote this for Aikakone because she pointed out the lack of this preticular ship! lol Well let me know what you think! (I could always use a bit of criticism...i could use some writing skills too! ^_^ lol)
