Chapter 8: Dreams and Illusions

Haruka was furious. Subtlety was not Yaten or Taiki's strong point and she could not believe they had dared to confront her like they had. She wondered what was going on with Seiya that made them angry with her. She knew that without the two sleeping pills she 'borrowed' from Setsuna's collection of medicine that she would never have gotten any sleep.

Seiya glanced over at the silent telephone, thinking. But he knew that Haruka lived with the other three outer senshi so that was out. He had looked up her address and phone number earlier and could of gone over but again; there was the issue of the other outer senshi. But the major issue was the fact that she didn't want to see him. He could understand that since he had seen her eyes when Galaxia had been mentioned.
Taiki looked at Seiya from over his book, thinking that he shouldn't have interfered between him and Haruka. He didn't like Haruka but that didn't matter. Since Yaten had little consideration for any beside himself, Taiki knew he would have to take care of this mess alone.

Even sleep did not provide Haruka with any rest. Dreams tormented her and she woke in the middle of the night. Outside she could hear rain against the window and the wind playing with the tree branches. It was another long night for her.
