Chapter 21: Luna and Artemis's Plotting
Luna took a deep breath, hoping her and Artemis's plan would work. She stood outside the house where the outers lived, going over what she was going to say in her mind.
After a while, she managed to ring the bell and sat on the doorstep waiting. After a moment, Michiru opened the door, looking surprised at seeing Luna there.
"Luna-are you here alone?" Michiru asked as she let the cat in.
"Yes. I need to see Haruka. It's important," Luna said seriously. Michiru nodded and went upstairs. Luna looked around as she waited; she had never had been to the outers's house alone before.
"Luna," Haruka came downstairs and if Luna wasn't mistaken, she was tired.
"Haruka, I wanted to talk to you alone so if you would come with me somewhere where I can be sure no one can hear us," Luna said. She was grateful that the outers were more mature than the inners for the most part (Luna thought that Ami and Raye could always be counted upon to be rational) and did not have the habit of asking annoying pointless questions.
"I understand," Haruka said, quickly hiding her confusion as she followed Luna out after leaving a short note for the others. She would soon find out what Luna was up to.
"Oh, you're Artemis, aren't you?" temptation to sharpen his claws on him. Yaten said in a sweet voice as he opened the door for the white cat. Artemis for his part looked forward to getting back at him for what he did. He and Luna had known the sailor senshi since the Silver Millennium and were very protective of them, even the outer senshi.
"Yes, I am. I would like to talk to Seiya please," Artemis said politely. Taiki, listening to the conversation from where he sat out of sight in the living room, did not miss the coldness in Artemis's tone. Yaten, however, did not notice it and went to get Seiya, clueless. Artemis waited in the front hallway, thinking of ways to hurt Yaten.
"Artemis, this is unexpected," Seiya exclaimed when he came downstairs and saw the cat waiting for him.
"I know however, there is something that I must speak to you about. If you would come with me, I would like to make sure that our words are not overheard," Artemis said, glancing at Yaten and he assumed that Taiki was listening in as well.
"OK, sure," Seiya said uncertainly. He wasn't sure what Artemis wanted to talk about but he was curious as he followed the cat out.
