Author's Note: Sorry for the delay but here's the update! Thanks for the
reviews- and keep them coming. If you're interested, I'm starting a new
story soon.
~ Nightfire Chapter 26: Marriage
The months has seemed to fly by. Two months ago, Seiya and Haruka had gotten married in a small ceremony; only Mamoru, Usagi, the other sailor senshi, the lunar cats, Princess Kakyu and Taiki had been in attendance. Yaten had refused to come, still being angry . Seiya was disappointed that Yaten insisted on continuing to be difficult but he wasn't going to give up Haruka. Yaten would just have to learn to deal with life.
Haruka woke up in the middle of the night, annoyed. That child had some nerve to wake her the middle of the night, kicking her. Next to her, Seiya was still asleep, oblivious. She made a note to herself that it would be Seiya who would be getting up in the middle of the night to deal with the baby after it was born. "Haruka? Are you ok?" Seiya muttered, opening one eye. "I'm fine," she said, grateful that the baby had ceased to kick her. "All right," he said, closing his eyes again. He put his arms around her, resting his hands on her stomach, going back to sleep. Haruka was awake now, unable to sleep. She didn't have any regrets but sometimes she could be free of the annoyances of being a parent. But she was happy and that she wouldn't change for anything.
