~Nightfire Chapter 28: Yaten's Return
That evening Minako walked home alone with Artemis, yawning. It had been a long meeting since after Aurora's comment, it had been hard to get Usagi concentrate. She stopped when she saw Yaten with Taiki, her eyes narrowing. When she had found out that it was Haruka Yaten was trying to hurt, she was ready to shave his head bald instead of giving him a little trim. The inner and outer senshi were not close but nevertheless, Minako had been furious. Next to her, Artemis glared at Yaten, flexing his claws slightly.
"Minako, Artemis," Yaten said cheerfully, going up to them, but stopped when he saw their expressions.
"You...you have some nerve showing your face here again," Artemis said coldly. Yaten took a step back in surprise, uncertain of what to do.
"You really have some serious issues to deal with. I don't know or want to know what but you should consider getting some help," Minako said evenly. Yaten narrowed his eyes at her. Taiki, who had been listening, smiled at her comment.
"I do not need help!" Yaten said angrily as Minako and Artemis walked away. He didn't notice Michiru, Hotaru, and Setsuna standing behind him until Hotaru spoke.
"It's fortunate that you didn't cause any permanent damage," Hotaru remarked quietly and Yaten turned to face them, expecting an attack but they only looked at him. He had no idea what to say; the wrong words could get him in a lot of trouble.
"What is done, is done. But you still have the chance to change things," Setsuna said as the three outers went off and he could only stare after then, confused.
