disclaimer-I don't own Inu-Yasha. But can I please please have him?...well, it was worth a try....
It started as any other day. Kagome wanted to go back home, so she was currently arguing with Inu-Yasha at the bone eater's well.
"Inu-Yasha! I need to get home! I wanna see my family, and visit my friends!! I have tests!! I wanna be around regular people!!" The girl from the future whined, trying to look pitiful in the eyes of her hanyou guardian. Needless to say, this wasn't really working.
"No, wench! We have to look for the Shikon shards! And besides, isn't being around us enough?" His eyes narrowed, then took on a softer tone, and he seemed...nicer, if he could ever be nice when it came to the miko leaving him. Yeah, he had some serious problems about seperation. But with what we had heard about the poor Inu's past, we can't really be surprised.
Of course, we, being I, was Kirara, the neko-youkai that guided this bunch of clueless souls in their quest for the half demon Naraku. Ok, so maybe they didn't know I was the one guiding them, in fact, some even thought it was Inu-Yasha, but no, oh no, it was me. But enough about me, more about the little scuffle by the Bone Eater's Well.
"Inu-Yasha, my name is NOT wench! My name is Kagome! Besides, you guys are normal. I just wanna be around my friends!" She was growing tired, anyone could tell. Well, not physically tired, emotionally tired. Tired of al these arguments she kept having with the hanyou. The whole group had serious relationship problems, but Kagome and Inu-Yasha's problems where by far the worst.
"Kagome," his voice got soft, and his eyes looked pained, as if his trust had been breached. "Kagome, Bitch, what, are we not your friends anymore?" Sure, he looked pained and soft, but that softness did not affect his voice in the least bit.
The girl snapped. You could just see the energy crackling around her. Now, she might have cracked because she was tired of being insulted by Inu-Yasha, or maybe she was having problems at home, all I know is that she just snapped. "Sure, Sango and Miroku and Shippou are my friends, but not you, you stupid arrogant jerk! You don't even have any friends!! You idiot!! I hate you!!" and with that, she shouldered her knapsack and jumped back into the well, and back to her own time.
Now, sure, I was upset I wasn't counted in Kagome's list of friends, but seeing Inu-Yasha's face made me forget my problems and pitty him like no tommorow. 'Kagome should have known not to insult the guy like that. That's like stabbing him in the back!' I wanted to console him, but he simply looked around, and finding no one around to look tough to, slouched down and walked away, farther and farther into Inu-Yasha's forest.

ok, I know this was a super short chapter, but if I get so much as one review, I'll write something that's much longer. Promise.
