Summary: On Hermione and Ron's wedding day Ginny, sick and tired of being single, lonely and depressed, decides to organise her life. So she writes "THE LIST". The list is all the things she wants to achieve before she hits 23.But nothing ever goes to plan does it?! Will she find her soulmate and best friend in a story full of love, friendship, tragedy and life? And what happens when her worst enemy becomes her boss.........................and friend?????????

CHAPTER 1: THE WEDDING
Ginny Weasley stared glumly at the happy couple who were her brother, Ron and her friend, Hermione. The bride of course looked beautiful in metres of swirling ivory taffeta and silk and Ron actually looked tidy for once! In fact everybody looked happy, everyone except her. It had only been three weeks since her break up with mark and here she was still in trauma from having to be chief bridesmaid! She couldn't deal with a wedding right now. At least she didn't have to make a speech! She would cry if she had to play happy, joyful little sister and bridesmaid for any longer, when she just wanted to wallow in her depression.
Anyway soon she could go home and forget about today. She'd smiled her way through getting dressed in the ghastly pale green chiffon dress, which did everything for the other bridesmaids, Parvati and lavender, with their tallness and long sleek hair, but did nothing for short, clumsy Ginny, who's waist length mass of red curls clashed with everything in sight.

"Oh God!" muttered Ginny to herself. Harry potter was walking her way. He'd been best man of course. She was sure he was coming over to pity her ; all on her own; how could mark leave her?; how nice she looked etc etc etc! She'd been hearing it all through the reception dinner and party. Harry sat next to her and just as he opened his mouth, Ginny interrupted. "I'm fine, I'm completely over mark and I adore the dress, Hermione has great taste!" she said in a sickly voice, which contained traces of suppressed sarcasm. Harry grinned " bad day?" he guessed, "You've said it" replied Ginny sulkily, "and actually, I think this dress is gruesome!" Harry laughed "Hermione will be crushed!" and Ginny grinned in spite of herself. "Anyway, I came to ask you if you wanted to dance?" harry added. Ginny smiled "sure" and got up and harry led her on to the dance floor.

As they danced harry started to laugh. "What?" questioned Ginny, annoyed, "I have to agree with you, that dress really is awful" he answered playfully and Ginny smacked him with her flower tiara. Suddenly she felt her stomach somersault, she couldn't still like harry could she?
