Kenshin walked Kaoru home and both were silent, deep in their own thoughts. 'I can't believe that he's actually here in the same school as me....*sigh*......I hope that my dreams about me and him together really comes true, maybe it will...Kao-chan no baka, as if that'll ever happen I mean who would like someone like me....' thought Kaoru as a frown took over here delicate features.
Of course, the two of them looked at each other once in a while and turned away with a blush spreading over their cheeks. Kenshin noticed her frown while staring at her and asked "Kaoru, you ok? You seem pretty upset...." "Iie Kenshin, daijobu. But thanks for your concern," replied Kaoru with a blush spreading over her cheeks while smiling.
The both of them then had a small conversation and both of them sensed two familiar auras following them, but shrugged it off and ignored it and thought of it as a small animal. Actually, the two familiar people who were following them were none other then the sly fox and the stupid rooster-head. Aoshi had to return home cos he was going out for a formal dinner with his family and as for Misao....well she just said that she wasn't feeling too good so that Aoshi could walk her home!
Anyway back to the point, right before they left, Misao and Aoshi told them everything except for the part when Kaoru thought of getting Sano and Megumi together. 'Che, too bad the little weasel and the icicle had to go back. Now I'm stuck with the fox....Actually I'm quite happy that I'm stuck with her, man she's so hot.......If only we could be.....nah, like that'll happen, che....what am I thinking? I'm supposed to be helping the fox on the mission!' thought the rooster-head.
"What's wrong, rooster-head? You seem pretty upset," asked megumi with curiosity spreading over her fair face. 'He looks so innocent and cute when he's blushing, thought Megumi. 'Man, she's so hot.....' thought Sano before turning red and saying "Nothing, just thinking about er.....how we should lure them into a trap..." Megumi smirked and then said "Good idea rooster-head. Hey, you're red."
"I'm not," said Sano who was even redder. Megumi gave her traditional laugh and whispered "rooster-head's in love! Rooster-head's in love!" Kaoru snapped out of her thoughts and heard two familiar people bickering and of course, Kenshin heard it too and they turned around to find nobody there. "I thought I heard the sly fox and the stupid rooster- head arguing just now did you?" asked Kaoru.
"Hai, I did. It's coming from the bushes, should we check it out?" replied Kenshin and then Kaoru nodded. "Shut up rooster-head, they heard us! Quickly duck!" hissed Megumi from the bushes. Kenshin and Kaoru headed towards the bushes from where they heard the bickering coming from and found them. (A/N ARGH! Oh no!!!)
Both Kenshin and Kaoru sweat dropped and then Kenshin let out and 'oro' before Kaoru said "Um.....what're you both doing there?" Sano looked up and said "Oh hey jou-chan, Kenshin! Me and the fox were just um.....you know having a look at er....plants! Yeah, we're quite interested in gardens.....oh aren't these flowers just beautiful fox?"
"Oh yes, they're beautiful rooster-head! Take those; let's add the other one to our flower collection.....we like to collect flowers cos you know....." said Megumi who helped Sano to pluck the flowers. (A/N Both Kenshin and Kaoru sensed their nervous auras, but shrugged it off)
"Oh right. I see, oh well we'd better be on our way home and see you guys in school tomorrow," said Kaoru who was still sweat dropping. "Ok ja jou-chan, Kenshin!" Said Sano before Megumi said "See you in school tomorrow Kao-chan, or should I say tanuki-chan, ohohohohoho!!! And same to you too, ken-san!" Kaoru glared at Megumi and muttered "Yeah, fox."
"yeah, we'll see you guys tomorrow too and by the way, I don't think that you should pluck those flowers cos there's a sign that's right in front of it that says 'NO PLUCKING FLOWERS OR PAY A FINE OF ¥400,000.
(A/N I don't really know how much it is when you convert your money to yens cos like I said in the first chappy, I don't know much about Japan! But I've heard that the currency rate isn't so high, despite the fact that the country is rich.......ok on with the story and not about geography....arrr.....my geography teacher does that! He's like a pirate! LOL! 5 guys in my class including me imitate him all the time whenever we have geography! Ok, on with the story.......)
Sano and Megumi peered at the sign and before any of them spoke a word, Principal Saitoh said in his usual blunt manner, "What are you ahous doing here? Oh, I've forgotten to tell you that I'm part of the city council. And rooster-head and fox, where's the ¥400,000? Pay it up." He said ending his dialogue with a smirk. "Er....We didn't bring our money so we'll pay up tomorrow, ok?" Saitoh heaved a sigh before nodding and then everyone went their own separate ways.

Kairi 7 – Arigato for your review and I'm really glad that you enjoyed it! In the next chappy, I might even put Kenshin and Kaoru trying to hook up Megumi and Sano! Yeah, Aoshi is a sweetheart deep down inside, though he acts like an icicle but only softens at Misao cos he can't hide it from her.....yep, he likes her!!!
