Kaoru and Samantha both stepped out of the room with smirks pasted on their faces. Samantha then dragged them all through a passage which leads to the stage, excluding Hiko who sat with the rest of the audience. "Hello everyone and welcome to the 'hook-em-up' and I'm your host the evil witch! And today's couple we shall bring together are Sagara Sanosuke and Takani Megumi!"

"NANI? You're pairing me up with that baka rooster-head!?" Exclaimed Megumi. The whole audience nodded and then Sano's jaw dropped just before Megumi dropped to the ground in anime style. "Che I knew there was something going on behind our backs. Jou-chan, weasel, icicle, Kenshin! How could you all do that! Especially you Kenshin! I thought that I could trust you! Che now who am I gonna tell my secrets to?" Grumbled Sano who glared at all of them especially Samantha.
The evil witch sweat dropped along with Kenshin, Kaoru, Misao and Aoshi before saying to the audience, "Ah don't worry about them folks! I know you're all thinking that they'd make a....er.......violent couple but they argue cos they're too SHY to actually TALK! They can argue to one another, but not talk! So we've gotta teach them right?" The whole audience including the cast on stage except for Sano and Megumi smirked and then the audience replied "right!" to the evil witch.
"We know that you both like each other but you guys don't wanna admit it," said the evil witch squinting her left eye at them turning her head to the side. "I-Iie you evil witch, why would I like someone as foxy as her? I mean there's er......." Replied Sano who tried to think up of words to insult her so that they all got the impression that he didn't have a crush on Megumi, but failed to so he kept quiet. Samantha's smirk widened and then she said "Oh I see. It's ok now on to Megumi. Do you like Sano?"
"O-Of course not! I mean how could anyone like a baka rooster-head have feelings for him! He's so........." Answered Megumi who also kept quiet cos she couldn't think up of anything else horrible to say about Sano. "Interesting," said the evil witch who hid her scary grin behind a romance novel. Aoshi and Kenshin whispered some stuff to Sano and he kept on stuttering "no" the whole time while blushing. Misao grabbed Megumi by the arm and of course the same thing happened like what happened to the boys.
"Ne Sam-chan, are you sure all this is gonna work?" Asked Kaoru worriedly. "Daijobu Kao-chan I know what I'm doing, though this is the hardest mission I've been assigned to do.......hmmm.....I've got it! You and Mi- chan ask her in front of the whole audience if he's cute while I'll ask Kenshin and Aoshi to the same for Sano. Then put these wires with plasters onto their heads........you'll know what I mean after that...and just ask them any other questions about you know...." (A/N We call each other -chan over here if you're all wondering cos we've sorta became good friends but I hope you all accept this but if you don't, just imagine that I put "Kaoru-san", "Misao-san", Megumi-san and Samantha-san)
She nodded her head and quickly whispered the evil witch's plan to the icicle, the weasel and her beloved oro-chan. They then smirked after being told what to do, meanwhile the evil witch was drinking her water till someone yelled out "Hey you! When are we gonna get some real action here? And where's the sake-vendor-machine!? Hiko Seijuro 13th master of the hiten mitsrugi style does not deserve to wait....Especially if it's a good looking person like me you should respect... " (A/N I just made up that part of the sake-vendor-machine, hee hee.....you'll know why...)
She quickly gulped the water down her throat before realizing that Hiko was the one who had called out from the crowd. "Look mister high- and-mighty with the big ego, we're gonna get some action now and I wouldn't like any sake-vendor-machines in MY studio cos you all would be drunken fools! And I own this place you know cos it's my show!" "Whatever little girl," he replied lazily. "I'M NOT LITTLE FOR KAMI'S SAKE!" I snapped back at him with a glare. He then finally shut his mouth and of course his big ego had made Samantha go off the hook.
Samantha calmed down and plastered a very sweet smile on her face and then said "Ok folks as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted by 'someone' with a big ego," She added to Hiko who sulked before continuing, "So rooster-head I mean Sano, do you think Megumi's cute?" He looked down at the floor and a blush stained his cheeks. "Yeah, I think she's quite cute.........actually she's far from that.....the word to suit her is.......gorgeous." He then immediately regretted what he had said but then when he tried to make up and excuse but couldn't and then he noticed something attached to his head.
"Oi! What's this thing?" Asked Sano who panicked while trying to take the thing od but sadly it was stuck. "Oh that's the wiry thingy that's attached to a mind machine. It's a machine that makes you say your thoughts aloud and only I can take it out, haha!" Samantha answered with a smile. Sano then blurted out I'm gonna kill you for this for embarrassing me and my beloved Megumi – WHAT DID I JUST BLURT OUT!?"
"See what I mean?" I replied back with a smirk. He kept quiet for a while and then Samantha said "So Megumi, do you think that Sano's cute?" Megumi blushed and then replied "Yeah he's just so darn cute with those innocent eyes that I could stare into them all day. Oh Kami-sama!? Did I just say my thoughts aloud!?" "Yeah, the same goes for you Megumi. You both will end up blurting out what's on your minds," I answered.
"This is so embarrassing.....especially in front of being in front of him/her," Sano and Megumi said at the same time. (A/N Megumi said 'him' and Sano said 'her' incase you're jumbled up) Their gazes met and then they turned away from each other. "If only I could tell you how much I really, really care for you Megumi cos I've had these feelings for you ever since we met," Said Sano who then turned red and stayed quiet. Megumi blushed and then replied "I've always felt the same way for you, Sano. I like you and it's not my private thought that I'm blurting out."
I walked over to them and then removed the wires from their heads. Sano slid an arm around her slender waist and she put her arms over around his neck and they kissed with all their passion. And of course there were lots of guys shouting out "Woo!" and whistling. Samantha sweat dropped at the audience as they acted like – Mental asylums rather than normal human-beings. "And that's all for now folks and remember to call me if two stubborn lovebirds who love each other can't bring themselves to confess their feelings for one another, just call this number! Only on 'hook-em- up'!"
After the show, everyone except for Kenshin and Kaoru went over to congratulate the new couples. "Finally we got them together right Kaoru?" Asked Kenshin who smiled. Koaru smiled back and replied "Yeah, I'm happy that they're together..." "What's wrong Kaoru?" Asked Kenshin worriedly. "Daijobu Kenshin it's just that I don't really know what it's like to have a boyfriend...I like someone, but I don't think he'd ever like me cos well I'm well....Oh well let's forget about that..." replied Kaoru who ended her dialogue with a sad smile.
