"I can't believe that you all planned that with the evil witch to get us together," said Sano who was busy munching on his 5th burger. "We've always known that you both had feelings for each other, I mean it's so obvious," replied Misao while tapping her foot really loudly which caused Kaoru to twitch her eyebrow and glare at her to stop it as it annoyed her.
"At least we're together Sano-koishii," Said Megumi seductively to her new boyfriend. Sano grinned and they both kissed. "Get a room," Commented Kaoru who looked as though she was about to throw up. "Che you just don't have a boyfriend yet jou-chan, you don't know what it's like to have one hee hee," replied Sano who sniggered. Kaoru glared at him but of course no one else except for Kenshin noticed the sadness in her eyes, but she tried to control it by twitching her eyebrow before glaring at him.
"Ok, I take that back jou-chan...calm down jou-chan you'll get a boyfriend someday, but not now hee hee...." Said Sano who seemed pretty er....scared at her er.....deathly glare. 'You and Kenshin are gonna be together soon hee, hee,' thought Sano, Aoshi, Megumi and Misao at the same time. "Ano Sano I think that you shouldn't say nasty things like that to her cos it might hurt her feelings," Said Kenshin who sort of defended Kaoru unlike the others who sniggered at Sano's comment except for Aoshi.
'Eh? How did he know how I felt? Oh yeah how could I ever forget that he's really, really good at sensing other peoples' auras,' thought Kaoru. *Ring!!* (A/N that's the school bell for class) "Kuso! We've got Biology now, and we're gonna dissect frogs!" Grumbled Sano whose face turned green at the thought of it. "It should be interesting, I've always wanted to see the inside of a frog," said Megumi who was also thinking about it. Misao, Sano, Kenshin and Kaoru sweat dropped and of course Sano nearly threw up.
*During Biology*
"Ok class, you can go and pick your partners. Two to a team and four people to a table," said Katshira-sensei to the class. "Oi fox, wanna be partners?" Asked Sano who looked at Megumi with pleading eyes. "Whatever," replied Megumi while sweat dropping at the thought of Sano throwing up on their er...operation. Everyone got their partners and of course the icicle was partners with the weasel.
Kenshin and Kaoru decided to be partners as they were pretty good friends. 'Good time to get Kao-chan and Kenshin together,' thought Misao cunningly. Aoshi smirked as soon as he saw them glancing at each other lovingly every so often and whispered all the info to his dear weasel who also smirked. "Jou-chan's scared of frogs right?" Sano whispered in Megumi's ear. "Yeah she is, why do you ask rooster-head?" replied Megumi whispered back to him while helping Katshira-sensei to hand out the frogs and tools to dissect it.
"Well she seems pretty scared right now and do you remember the time she fainted two years ago when we went camping?" Said Sano who was still smirking. "Oh yeah, she's gonna faint this time and of course Kenshin's gonna....." Megumi replied but before she could continue her sentence, both of them sniggered and smirked at the thought of it. "They're up to something," said Aoshi who was sweat dropping at the sight of the rooster and fox's smirks.
"Hai, we'd better get it out from their mouths after school," replied Misao before the whole class watched Katshira-sensei demonstrate the operation on a poor froggy...After he had demonstrated the operation, Kaoru gulped and Kenshin noticed her and then asked "You alright Kaoru?"
'I can't tell him the truth I mean he'll laugh his head off like the others and it'll be so embarrassing, especially for the fact that I have feelings for him...gosh he's so hot...' thought Kaoru while she stared into his violet orbs. "Oro?" exclaimed Kenshin before waving a hand in front of her face. Kaoru blinked twice and before saying "huh?" "I asked if you were alright but you seemed to have spaced out," said Kenshin smiling at her. "I'm fine, sorry about that," replied Kaoru who was as red as Kenshin's fiery hair.
'She looks cute like that,' thought Kenshin. Then everyone started on their operation. They put on the rubber gloves they were given and er.....they frowned in disgust at the insides of the frogs as soon as they had cut open the stomach. Katshira-sensei went around the class to see how they were doing and tried to calm the fox and the rooster, who were arguing over the frog. "Oi fox! I'm not gonna dissect this thing cos I'm gonna throw up!" Exclaimed Sano.
"Shut up rooster-head! You have to overcome your fears and I know that you just wanna use this as an excuse to skip Bio, ohohohohohhohohoho!!!" Snapped Megumi who gave her traditional laugh at the end of her dialogue. "I-Iie fox, you're just saying that so that I can get into trouble," said Sano while glaring at her. The couple continued to argue with the whole class sweat dropping except for Aoshi, Misao, Kenshin and Kaoru who were busy.
"Aoshi look at Kaoru she's so pale!" Hissed Misao. "Aah, let's see what Kenshin will do," he replied calmly to her. The couple then spied on two stubborn lovebirds. Kaoru held the frog while Kenshin took out the heart and er.....(A/N I know it's disgusting! Ugh!) Kaoru tried to calm herself down and 15 minutes later, she fainted. "Hm, this looks pretty weird I wonder what this part is...Hey Kaoru, which part is..." Before he could finish his sentence, he found Kaoru lying on the floor and she looked pale.
"And now over here we have the.." Before Katshira-sensei could continue teaching the class, Kenshin raised his hand and said "Um, Katshira- sensei Kaoru fainted." The teacher went over to Kenshin's place and all the students followed him. There were whispers going around and then Katshira- sensei said loudly "Go back to your places everyone, Himura-san please take her to the school's doctor, Genzai-sensei and I want you to stay with her till she wakes up, ok?" Kenshin nodded and scooped Kaoru up into his arms and carried her to Genzai-sensei's office.
*At Genzai sensei's office*
"Hm...she's fine but just passed out and as soon as she wakes up, she'll get a headache but it's only a small matter so it's alright. You can go back to class m=now and arigato for bringing her here," Said Genzai- sensei with a friendly smile. "Iie, Katshira-sensei told me to stay here with her till she gets up," replied Kenshin. "Very well then. If you need me, I'll just be in my office, ok?" Kenshin nodded before Genzai-sensei headed to his office.
Kenshin then heaved a sigh and looked down at Kaoru. 'She's so beautiful....If only I could tell her how I feel.....She looks like an angel when she's asleep....This is my chance to kiss her! Should I? Nah I shouldn't take the advantage at a time like this...But I really wanna....' He thought. He then leaned down and kissed her lightly on the lips. Right after that, Kaoru woke up and Kenshin quickly ran over to a drinking fountain nearby and got some water from himself.
Kaoru regained consciousness and found Kenshin drinking a cup of water. 'Mou, that was only another one of my dreams........But it felt so real when he kissed me,' thought Kaoru before having a sigh muttering a couple of curses under her breathe. Kenshin quickly gulped down his water as soon as he saw Kaoru's fists clenching, and she was also gritting her teeth and twitching her eyebrow, and said worriedly, "You alright Kaoru?" Kaoru looked up and replied with a smile "Hai Kenshin Daijobu. Thanks for your concern and by the way what happened?"
Kenshin explained everything and then Kaoru nodded every so often. "So I think you should get some rest ok?" Kenshin said calmly. "Ok and Kenshin, please stay here with me till I get up...I don't wanna be alone," Replied Kaoru softly placing her hand over his and of course she was as red as ever. Kenshin smiled and said softly "Of course I'll stay here with you, anyway I was assigned to."
