Hello! Well, I'm done with "This Wasn't supposed to happen"! I hope you've read it. This is just some fluffy one shot I wrote during 1st period and Homeroom. I was really bored today cos it was like Substitute City. It's a song fic. Just guess who the song is by—Yellowcard!! Their song called Rocket. Ok,ok I'll shut up.

~*Sleeping late on
Warm afternoon...*~

*Boom! Crackle... * It's the night of July 4th. We're sitting in the soft grass watching the brilliant fireworks light up the sky. We, as in Misty and I. I glance over at her face being lit up as *Boom! Crackle... * the fireworks explode.

~*Waking up to
Bright silver moon...*~

She notices me staring at her and she looks at me. I blush slightly and turn away quickly. She smiles. *Boom! Crackle... *

"It's beautiful, isn't it Ash?" she asks me. I turn to her again.

"Yea...it is..." I whisper.

~*Silent words from
My heart to you
My empty filled
Filled up with you...*~

I try my hardest to keep my attention upward. To watch the firecrackers shooting into the sky, like rockets... *Boom! Crackle... *

Sure they're beautiful, but I can look at the girl next to me and see beauty. Sure they're bright, but just looking into Misty's eyes makes them seem so dull. *Boom! Crackle... *

This morning I told myself that I would tell her tonight, how I truly feel. *Boom! Crackle... *

I notice the other people sitting around us. Mostly couples holding hands and leaning onto each other. I look at Misty. I wish it could be us too. *Boom! Crackle... *

~*Rockets fly
Into my sky...*~

*Boom! Crackle... * There goes the last one. Every couple is helping each other up, and they leave still holding hands. Misty is just about to get up but I grab her arm.

~*The two of us we dream like one
Our energy could light the sun...*~

"What are you doing?" she asks.

"I want to stay a little more...with you..."

~*The two of us take breath as one

She blinks once then sits down once again. After a few minutes of silence, I slip my hand into hers. She seems startled at first, but then she relaxes into my chest and closes her eyes, smiling. I look down at her and smile myself.
