Meiko and Nachan's relationship is falling apart...just like Meiko's parents.
What will happen to them and who will Meiko come to for comfort? My first

Meiko sat alone in bed, again. This was the third time this week. She cried miserably for a moment. This was exactly what she didn't want to happen. Her relationship with Nachan was falling apart just like her parents had. She didn't understand what she did wrong. Why was Nachan doing this to her? He knew how she felt about these situations, she had come o his house many times for comfort during her high school years.
She decided to go into her office and work. She sat quietly at her desk and wrote some chapters for an upcoming story. She looked at a picture of her and Nachan at their wedding. She quickly slammed it face down with no regret. As she was finishing up her last chapters she fell asleep next to the keyboard
She awoke to the sound of her cell phone at eleven the next morning, unaware of what day it was.
"Hello?" she answered as she yawned.
"Where are you!? I thought I was suppose to meet you at the station?"
Meiko stared at her cell phone. Of course it had to be the day she was going to Tokyo that she decided to sleep-in.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry Miki! Um, I'll catch the next train. I'll call you when I get there 'kay?"
Miki sighed. "Alright, but your buying lunch to make up. I had to leave work early to pick you up," she said. "I'll see you later then."
"Sorry!" Meiko apologized.
As she hung up, she realized Nachan was standing at the door. He smiled a phony smile, acting as if nothing were wrong.
"Why didn't you wake me up!? I was supposed to be in Tokyo half an hour ago!"
"I just woke up too. How come you're in here?" He asked.
She walked past him without saying a word. She grabbed her suitcase and stormed out the door. Nachan yelled after her "Do you want a ride?" She flicked him off; she wasn't in the mood for his shit. She was late as it was.

She took her seat next to an elderly couple. As the train started moving her cell phone rang again.
"Hey! Listen, my car just got towed. I can't pick you up."
Meiko gripped her cell phone hard. "Well what am I supposed to do? The train just started."
Miki laughed. "Don't worry, I called Miwa. He said he'd pick you up and you guys will meet me and Yuu at the restaurant.
"Great," Meiko said sarcastically. "Okay, whatever, I'll see you in a bit," she said and then hung up.
God damn it, she thought. This trip is going to be worse than I thought...
