The Legend of [a girl child]
Telling #1
Chapter 1: Future, Present, Present Imperfect?
"Link, hurry up! The Master Sword is over here!"
He darted over to Zelda's side. The fire wall had descended due to Ganon being weakened for a time.
"Destroy Ganon with the Master Sword!"
Link promptly drew the sword from the ground. He ran over to Ganon and slashed him several times. Ganon hunched over, and coughed up vile blood.
"I'm using my power to hold the Evil King! You use your sword and deliver the final blow!"
Link thrust the sword into the beast's flesh, releasing a bright beam of light.
"Six Sages...Now!"
And at that moment, there was a flash of light.
Not the kind of flash that Link wanted, though.
More like the kind that's seen when you get hit on the head with a rock.
"Unghh...what...where.." Link murmured, as he got up from his bed. For a moment, he thought that the entire adventure he had been on,
his entire life for the past year (or eight years, but no need to go into that right now), he thought that it was all a dream.
But only for a moment.
He looked down at his hand. It was old, battle-scarred. Yet he was still only a boy.
There was a loud thundering of feet. Sounded like a pack of scalded dogs. Link ran outside and slid down his ladder.
He was met with the sight of dozens of Kokiri running to the great field in front of the Deku Tree.
"What's going on?" Link yelled, trying to catch the attention of one of the fleeing children. None even glanced back.
Those Kokiri were dead-set on making it to the field.
"Link!"
"CUCCO!"
"GAH!"
Thump.
"Ug..."
"Liink, what's taking you so long?" said a girl standing in the doorway.
Link looked up, and saw...a cucco. Several, actually.
"What in the name of Farore is going on?!" Link screamed, freaking out the cuccos in the process.
"Are you feeling alright, Link?" the same girl said, a motherly worry obvious in her voice. Link got his first good look at her.
About fifteen years old, long brozeish-brunette hair, white working dress...
"Malon? What are you doing in...in..." Link cut himself off. This wasn't his house. It wasn't even Kokiri.
"I'm sorry I didn't knock first, but you were making such an awful racket...Well, you should get dressed soon. You slept in." Malon wandered off.
"Malon...she..." Link felt like he should be confused. But for some reason, this made sense. Almost. He still wasn't quite sure why he was in Lon Lon Ranch, but it no longer seemed too strange.
He got up off the ground, and walked over to the dresser. There was a tunic sitting on top of it, but it most certainly wasn't his old tunic.
It had strange designs on it, with a large spiky collar. After putting it on, he looked in the corner of the room.
"Ah, my sword..." He reached over and grabbed the sword, still in the sheath, and put the leather strap around his chest.
"Well, I guess it's time to herd some horses!"

//--!Author's Note: Howdy, this is Sensei here. It's been forever since I've written anything. I hope that the writing of this story will get me back into writing. Just so you know, the idea and many of the details of this story come partly from my sister, and the story is inspired from a song. It should be fairly obvious if you know the song, and if you don't, that's perfectly fine, too.
I know that this was a short (and confusing) chapter, but I hope it works. I've started the second chapter, so that should be out soon, too. Leave a review if you wish, and don't be afraid to criticize, as long as it's constructive. Hope you enjoy it!
