Maria looked at her surroundings, 'I'm in the Mystic Ruins, well, actually
in them...' She looked around more and saw she was in a confined space,
Eggman came in, "Hello Maria how are we today?" Maria stuck her tongue out
at him, he smirked, "Do you want to get out?" Maria said nothing, Eggman
opened her cell and placed the keys on the other side of the room, Maria
tried to stand up but fell to the ground, Eggman laughed, "Well I would
watch this more but I have to leave I have guests." Maria scowled and
pulled herself up with her arms, and sat back on the bed.
Amy grumbled, 'One guess who this stupid job is for, Eggman, depending on how much he actually pays...well this may be worth it.' She followed Rouge and brought out her hammer incase he was going to make a crack about her, Rouge grinned, "Don't worry he knows, so you can put that awful thing away." Amy nodded and shrugged. The door opened to have Eggman standing there, "Hello ladies to what do you owe this pleasure?" Rouge scowled, "How much you willing to pay and for what job?" Amy nodded annoyed at Eggman, who smirked, "I see no change very well I will pay a large sum of money if you..."
Maria looked at the keys, 'I know I can do this, all I need to do is focus...' Maria used the bed as a support her legs not used to the weight automatically collapsed, she groaned and kept she tried about ten times until she got it, still holding onto the bed she put one foot in front of the other, her legs were very shaky and did not seem able to move on their own unless she forced them. She kept doing this, over and over again. An hour later she was able to stand up with out wobbling, she slowly put on foot in front of the other very cautiously, but she tripped over a rock in the cell and fell. She groaned and got up against slowly first from her knees to her feet, she wobbly made it across the room, she smiled, 'I did it! YAY!' she smiled and took the keys, and went back to the bed she heard the door slide open as she did. She heard Eggman's voice, and two others, as they passed her cell she gasped. Tears were coming to her eyes, "Amy?"
Sonic and Shadow came to doorway and Shadow growled, he tried spinning then attacking but it was no use, Sonic groaned, "Man Tails would usually hack into the system..." Shadow shrugged, "Why don't we try it? It can't be THAT hard I mean if a ten year old can do it so can we!" Sonic grinned, "Yea!" Then opened a box, and looked at the wires, "Sooo which one do we cut?"
Maria sat there horrified, 'Did I do something really bad to make Amy go bad? Or was she always bad? No that ain't it, maybe Eggman brainwashed her! Amy would never ever go on Eggman's side...would she?' She looked at the three figures and began to cry, 'Sonic! Shadow! Tails! Knuckles! Where are you? Someone got to help Amy!' Amy looked at Maria, panic went through her eyes, Maria looked away, and Amy felt weird inside, not sad, or happy. Something when Maria did that made her feel angry at herself and she hated that feeling, Rouge looked over, "Who is that?" "She's a crippled she can't do anything! She can't stand up!" Eggman laughed, "Which makes her the perfect hostage unlike you Amy, who was able to fight. I am very glad that you chose the right side." Amy forced a smirk, "Yea me to." Guilt spread with in her, and she looked at Maria who was now crying.
Shadow looked at all the colorful wires, "Probably the blue one it's always the blue one." "Why the blue one?" Sonic complained, "Why blue? Why not that red one!" Shadow scowled, "The blue one!" "Red!" "Blue!" "RED!" Sonic shouted, "I'm always right Shadow, have I ever mislead you?" Sonic cut the red wire and an alarm sounded, Shadow growled, "No, you just were always wrong." Shadow shouted at him and many robots came at them.
Maria looked at Amy, 'I must have done something really bad that Amy would go to Eggman's side! This is all my fault! I hate myself! Amy has turned mean because of me!' Maria kept crying, and she heard Eggman, Rouge, and Amy leave. They said something about an intruder. Maria didn't care, she slowly walked towards the keyhole and turned the key opening the cell door, she slowly walked down the hallway out of the entrance into the jungle. She looked at the clouds, it had begun to lightly rain, tears were coming down she saw a river and sat down by it, she saw a bird, and she looked at it, "Oh! It's all my fault Amy went bad! I'm a bad person! I need to be sent to jail! I'm a very bad sister...am I a bad person birdie?" The bird chirped as if trying to say something but Maria could only think of Amy and how it was her fault that Amy had turned bad.

If she were to know you-" Eggman began to laugh, "She already does know Sonic she's probably crying in her cell still." Shadow growled, "Amy Rose! Maria is still in a fragile condition, she has been worrying about you, the faker and I had to lie to her about where you were and if you were okay!" Sonic looked at Amy sadly, "Amy why?" Amy looked at Sonic his sad green eyes she began to think, "For the money of course, Sonic you would never understand." Sonic growled, "Amy you have plenty money to support yourself!" "HOW WOULD YOU KNOW MR. HERO! I'M IN BLOODY DEBT AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" She screamed, "YOU DESTROYED MY APARTMENT 'SAVING ME!' DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I OWE?" Sonic growled, "I could have paid for the damages Amy. You know I could have, you are a disgrace you wanted power didn't you?" "No I---" Amy began to think about the real reason why she had joined Rouge. 'To help Maria...that's why I joined Rouge...and now...now I have hurt her...this is all Rouge's fault! If she hadn't- !' Another voice came into her head, 'No Amy it was your own fault for wanting to go in the first place you should have known Sonic, Shadow, and Tails could help Maria. Not just you but you shunned them out. So now what you wanted to protect is gone.' Amy froze, "I-I-I hurt her..." Realization dawning on her and Rouge smirked, "Amy you aren't really going to listen to what those idiots say about you?" Amy for the first time in a week thought about what she had done and how she had acted, 'I've been acting like Rouge...Rouge! Oh! I am so stupid!'
Maria looked at the running water, 'Maybe if I just were dead, no one would turn bad because of me. And no one would be worried about me or have to even care.' Maria nudged towards the water, it was running quickly and it was deeper because of the rain, she put her feet in, and then she stopped and thought, 'Yes this is the right thing to do, it's because of me that I messed up Amy's life so why should I mess up Sonics, Shadows, or Tails to?' she then stopped again to think the slant was becoming more unstable, 'But then I would hurt their feelings and make Sonic and everyone go bad! What do I do?' A tear slid down her cheek, and the slant collapsed into the water, and Maria fell into the river.

Marina attack!" A robot around Eggman's height came out, it had rocket's making it able to float, it looked like a male android, his hair was orange and went down to his shoulder's he wore sunglasses a large nose but not as big as Eggman's his skin like Eggman's but darker, he was muscular built and had a gun as an arm, and his mouth moved as he spoke. "So Sonic, Shadow, and Amy this is going to be fun. I'll kill you all one by one."
