Maria tried to swim out but she was to weak against the current, she
splashed around aimlessly, she was gasping for air as the air was pushed
out of her and water instead, she felt someone grab her arm, and she saw
red, she smiled a bit. The figure got her to dry ground away from the
river. She looked at him, she struggled to stand up but she saw him shake
his head, she smiled at him, "Konnichiwa Knuckles." Knuckles looked at
her, "Maria, what are you doing here? And why in the world were you in the
river? Where is blue boy?"
Sonic growled, "Bring it on." The android smirked and caught Amy by he wrists, "I advise you to listen to Master Robotnic." Sonic and Shadow growled and Amy whimpered. Eggman smirked, "Now let me get down to business Shadow and Sonic. Let me tell you what I expect from you both."
"And then Amy went to Eggman's side, and it's all my fault! I am a stupid child just like Eggman says! I made Amy go bad! Knuckles it's all my fault! I just figured if I weren't around Sonic and Shadow wouldn't go like Amy did. And no one would have to worry or care about me..." Knuckles stood there in shock, "You stay here. Knuckles growled and saw Amy, and an android, 'Obviously, that idiot Sonic look that android is made a thin sheet of metal easily defeated.' Knuckles climbed onto a higher part of a rock and drill drove the android making Amy fall to the ground and the android to blow up, Knuckles then sent a menacing look at Eggman who cowered away and then Knuckles turned his attention to Amy. He just glared at her for the longest time, "She almost killed herself because of you Amy. I hope you are happy." He spat and walked off, leaving Amy, Sonic, and Shadow speechless.
Maria looked at the water it was coming closer and Knuckles had told her to stay here, she heard a rustling of bushes and saw Knuckles, who gave a small grin, "Hey kid, good you didn't move, come on get on my back I'll show you where I live." Maria smiled but then frowned, "What about Sonic, Tails, and Shadow, and Amy?" "Tails is up with me I found him injured yesterday, and they are fine they just need to talk to Amy for a little while." "Knuckles did she go bad because of me?" "No Maria, no one could." "Promise?" "Yea kid I promise." He helped Maria onto his back and flew off.

And Maria...you probably need to give her some information, and she will understand she may be a little mad about the whole stealing thing though."
