Meeting the Menace
A The Chrysanthemum Chronicles Series Story
Somewhere In Yoshimo Toskukachi's House
Stramesville, Muramiskayo, Ozotov IV
September 13, 986 - September 14, 986
Meanwhile, as Darien and his two fellow Terrans were getting ready to retire in Womeru, Kuzaruno, Queen Serenity suddenly said, "Serena, Darien's no longer alone in Kuzaruno."
Serena soon woke up from a nap that she was taking in the room where she and the rest of her companions were in Yoshimo's house. Which was, of course, the same room that he'd originally put them in, when they'd come to his house some time before. She asked, "Who's Darien with now, Mom?"
"He's with two other people apparently from Earth. I can't recognize them both right now. But I do know that I've seen at least one of them at least once before, from being on Earth at least once in the last five to ten years. The girl seems familiar to me. But the boy doesn't. This girl's about your age, or a little older, it seems, Serena."
"I wonder if she's going after Darien now, Queen Serenity," said Raye, who'd just been reading a scroll of hers for a while.
"I don't think so, Raye. Besides, you don't really need to try to make Serena jealous. Or at least, I don't think you really need to try to do so. She may indeed go after Darien. But from what my Crystal's telling me now about Darien and his two current companions, I don't think that she will."
"Good. I hope he doesn't, Mom. For he's MY honey, and I don't intend to lose him to anyone else, if I can possibly avoid it. Even if they're also from Earth just like he is."
Destiny asked, "Mom, would you care to describe his current companions to us all?"
So Serenity told them all she'd apparently learned about Darien's companions. No matter what it was. She still didn't know about the loose-tongued dock-workers in the Osaka area of Japan on Earth, though. But she did let them know that Darien's companions were about their current ages, more or less. And that the girl with him was a girl with long waist-length auburn hair, while the boy with him now had shoulder-length black hair.
After doing that, Serenity, Hannah, Susan, Alexis, and Michelle soon went outside to patrol around the house and its grounds for at least an hour, if not longer. And they did this for all the obvious reasons. That was after Serenity told Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina to be as ready as they possibly could be, to relieve any or all of them at any time. And she did the same for her daughters, as well. But mainly to be fair to all the other secret Scouts that were currently with her in Muramiskayo's Stramesville area on Ozotov IV.
After Serenity left, Serena asked Amy, "Do you think that we'll have to deal with any more considerable amounts of trouble any time in the next few days or weeks, Amy? That's if we're still on Ozotov IV at that time or those times, of course." She did that while both Luna and Artemis still slept for quite a while
"I don't know, Serena. I really don't know. But I can assure you with total accuracy that I'm glad that we beat that dragon-like being we just fought against yesterday or the day before. He wasn't easy, of course. But I'm still really glad that we did so."
"I am too, Amy. I just wish all our powers and items had worked better against him than they did then."
"And are you scared of the future, Serena?"
"At least a little, Raye. Why?"
"Because if this Negaverse group's as strong as your mother seems to think that it is, or that it'll be, in the future, then we could all find ourselves in a whole lot of trouble. Especially for those of us who are actually from our Moon Kingdom's homeworld. Do you know what I mean, when I say that, Serena?"
"You think that they'll go after Mom, Dad, Destiny, Bethany, and me, at least, Raye?"
"I'm afraid so. Do you think that you five will be able to fight them well enough?" asked Raye.
"I don't know. But I hope I never have to find out whether or not that's actually the case. For I'd hate to lose my parents, if I don't have to, Raye. Just as I'm sure you'd hate to lose your parents and your sister Bridget. And just as sure as I am that the rest of you who have siblings elsewhere in the Moon Kingdom would do the same, depending on each of their respective cases, of course. I know I'd also hate to lose Destiny and/or Bethany because of them, if they come after us all. But especially if they come after all of us from the Moon."
"Even me and Bethany, Serena?"
"Especially you and Bethany, Destiny. For you're both my sisters. I can't imagine my life without you both now. For it's been too long for me to do that, if I don't have to, and if I can possibly avoid it. I hope, though, that if they do come after us in the Moon Kingdom, and worse comes to worst for us and it, somehow, that we'll all meet again at least once more in the future. Especially if they come against those of us from the Moon, quite obviously enough. Whenever that is, if at all possible, and if it's God's will that we do so somehow then, of course."
"What if worse comes to worst for us in the Moon Kingdom, we get sent to Earth by Mom, and we don't see each other for a long time after that happens for us, Serena? God willing, of course, that we all get to go there to live in the future."
"Then we'll have to cross that bridge, if and when it ever happens to be the case for us, Destiny, somehow, if we possibly can. I hope that it doesn't, of course. But for some reason I don't yet know or understand, I'm not really seeing much of you or Bethany in my visions and/or dreams of possible futures for all of us. I hope that we do eventually reunite, if worse comes to worst somehow for us and it. But it may not be possible, for the obvious reasons, Destiny."
"You don't see us in your visions and/or dreams, Serena?" asked Bethany, in the necessary manner.
"No, I'm afraid not, Bethany," answered Serena, also in the necessary manner here. "I don't see Bridget. I don't see Chloe. I don't see Aurora. I don't see Beatrice. I don't see Destiny. I don't see you. I don't see Mom and Pop. And I don't see a whole lot of other people that I know from it and from Earth."
"Darien?"
"Yes." Luna and Artemis soon woke up from their nap here. And they both began waiting for a sufficient lull in the present conversation between Serena and the rest of their current companions.
"Me?" asked Amy.
"Yes."
"Me?" asked Raye.
"Yes."
"Me and Lita, Serena?" This from Mina, of course.
"Yes on both counts."
"Anyone else?"
"Not that I can recognize well enough at the current time, Amy. They might be there. But I'm not exactly sure yet. For they're not very clear to me right now, in my visions and/or my dreams. Other than maybe Princesses Susan, Hannah, Alexis, and Michelle, at least. I see a younger brother for me. But he doesn't look anything like anyone we know right now, Amy. My apparent parents in these visions and/or dreams of mine that I've had for quite a few years look quite a bit unlike the ones that I often have at the current time in my life. My apparent mother in the future usually has shoulder-length wavy hair that often looks quite blue in nature. While my apparent father often wears glasses and often takes pictures with some device I can't identify well enough right now. My apparent brother in these visions and/or dreams often seems to be quite the pest. But not often in the ways I've likely been a pest in the past, if I'm not mistaken. And I often enough seem to be quite a pest then, at certain times, too, of course. I don't think that I'll ever be completely able to never be a pest again, if I somehow make it far enough into the future in God's very own Universe."
"And do you think you'll ever lose the nickname of 'Meatball Head,' Serena?" asked Raye.
"Unfortunately, I don't think so. Sure, you can bet that I'd really like to lose it eventually. But I don't think I ever will. No matter how much I might prefer otherwise. Or at least not until I get married and have at least one child, Raye. And I think you and Darien will most frequently be calling me that in the future. At least among those people who I know well enough at the current time in my life. And maybe even a future daughter for me, if I ever have one. I sometimes actually see a pink-haired kid who wears a hairstyle much like my own in my dreams and/or visions. But I've probably not yet recognized her well enough in them at all. I suspect that I'll actually see her someday yet in the future. And that the rest of you here with me now also will, except for maybe Destiny and Bethany. But I don't know why yet. And I wish I did know why, obviously. But I don't yet, if I ever will."
"Another you, perhaps?" asked Luna.
"I hope not, Luna. Don't you all think that just one of me's more than enough for anyone, if possible?"
"No, actually we don't, Serena. You may not actually believe this. But I think that we'd really not mind knowing someone at least a bit like you. Even if she's sometimes a twerp, like we all know that you can be sometimes. I hope that if you have a daughter, though, that she doesn't always pig out on food so much like you often seem to do. And I hope that she also knows how to have a whole lot of fun with doing certain things in her life. Such as partying or shopping or things like that," answered Raye.
"Well, if she'll eventually ever be my future daughter, Raye, I hope she gets all the best things possible from me, of course. And I also hope that she gets all the best things possible from Darien, as well, for that matter."
"You still think that Darien and you will eventually wind up together in the future, Serena?" asked Mina.
"Yes, I'm sure of it. It may take at least a millennium for that to happen. But, if possible, we'll eventually wind up together somehow, and have a lot of fun with each other as we do so, I think."
"Even if the Negaverse or anyone else might seek to keep both you and Darien apart somehow for a very long time, if not forever?" asked Amy, as she began petting Artemis briefly here.
"Even if they try to do so, we'll eventually wind up married to each other, I think, Amy. For I have very strong feelings about him. And I think that he has very strong feelings for me too. Even though he may not always show it. I can't imagine being married to anyone other than him. And I'd rather be with him, if and whenever worse comes to worst for either or both of us, of course."
"Even if you chase other guys in the meantime, Serena?" Artemis then moved away from Amy, and over to Mina, in very short order here. Mina began petting him after he did so well enough.
"Sure, Lita. Even if I do. Let's just put it this way, if we can. Sure, I may look. But that doesn't necessarily mean that I'll bite on the bait that they might cast my way in their attempts or non-attempts to actually snag me once and for all. You see, I believe my heart's already Darien's. Or at least my mind is his, I think. That is, if I'm not too mistaken here. There's just something about Darien that makes me care so very much for him in my life, more than I evidently care for any other male in my life. With the possible exception of my Dad, of course, at least at the current time in it. I don't know what it is exactly. But I do know, at least, that I really care for him a whole lot. Even though we don't always get along with each other perfectly. Haven't you ever felt like that around a guy other than your father, your brothers, or your male cousins, at the very least?"
"Sort of, I suppose, Serena. Why?" answered Lita.
"Then you might understand why I'm saying the things that I'm saying right now to all of you here in this room of ours with me. Even Raye, I hope. Sure, she may chase him. But I intend to be the one girl to ultimately win him in his life, if possible. I've most likely got nothing personal against those who'd chase him like I often like to do, if you all know what I mean by that. Supposing that I know that they like him too, for all the right reasons, quite naturally enough. But if they don't, then that may not always be the case. And I think that Raye has at least a little bit of a good taste in guys. Even though I really do wish, of course, that she'd not try to chase Darien so often in her own life."
"And if I want to chase him, I can?" asked Raye.
"That's right, Raye, if you're only doing it for the right reasons, of course. But if you're not, then, I'll most certainly mind if you do. Yes, I know he's quite popular with the ladies. Especially with many of us here who are from the Moon Kingdom. But as I said before, I intend to be the only girl to ultimately win him once and for all, if I possibly can. Even if that means I have to win him over you, Raye, I intend to be the only one he'll ever get married to, if I possibly can be. Nothing personal. But he's MY honey. Or at least I think he is right now, no matter where he actually is right now in God's very own Universe."
"Even if he's actually with another girl right now in it, like your mother's seeming to suggest is the case, at least currently, Serena?"
"Even so. I don't think we'll have to worry about her chasing him much, Raye. Instead, I think, and I hope, of course, that if there's another boy with her and Darien, that she'll chase that other boy instead of Darien. Or that the other boy will chase her like you and I often obviously try to do with Darien, at the very least."
"So what do you think this girl's like?"
"I don't know, Amy. But I still do hope that she stays far enough away from Darien, of course."
"Even though she's apparently from Earth?"
"Yes, Destiny, even though that appears to be the case, I still hope she does. I want my dreams and/or visions to prove to be at least a little bit accurate, whenever they possibly can be, in the future. Especially when it comes to me and Darien possibly being together for a very long time. Though not totally accurate, if they seem to suggest that I won't be able to see you and Bethany, at the very least, very often at all, if even at all, in the future."
"Because you don't really want to have to miss us very much, if at all, Serena, in it?" asked Bethany.
"Yes, Bethany. I don't want to have to miss any of my closest friends and relatives from my life in the Moon Kingdom, in the future. Even if it's eventually spent on Earth, instead of the Moon, if I don't absolutely have to. Sure, I suppose I could adjust to life without any of those people now in my life, if I had to. But I can tell you that it won't be very easy at all. Especially if any of them are you, Destiny, Mom, and Dad."
"But if we go to Earth, won't someone have to die, in order to make sure that we can?" asked Mina and Artemis, together, in fact.
"Probably, Artemis and Mina. I have this very disturbing feeling, though, that it'll not be Dad. Because it seems to me that he might be killed in battle before then. And I suspect that it'll be Mom who'll have to send us to Earth, so that we can have a future of some yet-unknown kind on it. But I'm afraid that if she does so, by using her Crystal, she'll fall asleep amidst the rubble of one of our Moon City-area palaces on the Moon. For I think that it'll take all her strength and power that she'll likely have left when they come to ruin us once and for all, if at all possible for them, for her to do so. And I think I'll quite possibly be unconscious, dead, or asleep by the time that happens, if it ever does. I suspect that her greatest mortal enemy from the Negaverse, if that's the name of the evil force that'll seek to conquer and/or destroy our Moon Kingdom, will somehow zap both me and Darien. Though I don't know why I suspect that yet, if I ever will. It somehow seems to me that the Negaverse's leader will wreak havoc near or on the grounds of one of our Moon City-area palaces, and cause Darien to fly up in the air. Of course, I'll probably try to be with him if and when she does. Then I might get zapped myself, if I'm reading my visions and/or dreams accurately enough. And I might be rendered unconscious, asleep, or dead, by her."
"Then what might happen, supposing that's actually the case? Meaning, of course, if you try to be with him when he flies up into the air, Serena?" asked Raye.
"Mom might try to stop her before it's too late, Raye. And I think she'll take her Wand and put her Crystal in a trough on it. Luna, you and Artemis might actually try to talk her out of it. But she won't likely listen. For she'll probably care very deeply for all of us that she can save. Luna, you and Artemis might really wonder why she'll do that. And why she'd trap us all in her Crystal, instead of destroying all our enemies, if she hasn't already trapped us all in it, by then. But she'll probably say something, then, somewhere along the lines of 'If I killed them, then I'd kill Serena and all the rest as well. I must sacrifice our Kingdom to save the future for our people, even if it ultimately kills me, by doing so. This is the only way to ensure a future for Serena and the rest of her Court, at least. I wish I didn't have to do it, but I have no choice, if I want them to survive somehow.' Then she might sit down on a piece of rubble from one of our palaces, after saying the necessary activation phrase that'd hopefully ensure our future survival. And she might then say, quite possibly, just before she falls asleep, 'Perhaps we'll meet again.' Then her Crescent Moon Wand with the Imperium Silver Crystal attached might fall from her hand just after she falls asleep. And that might cause globes, canisters, or at least one other kind of container to appear around each of us who was either from Earth or the Moon Kingdom that she was able to save with her Wand and Crystal. Then, after a time, we might each emerge from our respective containers, whatever they might be. Or we might be born to other parents from Earth who don't know of our past from anywhere else in the known Universe. If I'm not mistaken, we'd all emerge eventually from our containers, or we'll be born to our respective Earth parents, roughly a millennium after our respective births anywhere in the known Universe. At least that's what my recent enough dreams and/or visions have apparently told me of late, everyone."
Just then, Sentinel Serenity entered their room with Pluto Beta, Neptune Beta, Uranus Beta, and Saturn Beta again. She asked Serena, "Why are you talking about your recent visions and/or dreams again, Serena?"
"I was wondering if we'd have any more major trouble while we were still here on Ozotov IV, especially trouble like we had yesterday or the day before."
"I see. And I suppose Darien was mentioned in your conversation?"
"Yes, Mom, he was."
"What did you say when you all discussed him and how he related to your recent enough dreams and/or visions, Serena?"
Serena told her mother exactly what she'd said during her discussion about Darien and her recent dreams and/or visions. For she really didn't want to get into a lot of trouble with her mother for not doing so. And her fellow Princesses told them what they'd said to her during it, if Serena hadn't already done so, for the exact same reasons that Serena did that here, of course.
Serenity and all her Beta-level Scouts soon powered down all the way to their respective non-Scout states of being. After they did so, Serenity said, "Serena, I wish you'd not talk about them so often with everyone else, if possible. Especially if they have anything at all to do with Destiny and Bethany."
"Mom, if I don't talk about them, and such things happen, then how am I going to deal with such things in the future? Supposing, of course, that I somehow live long enough to do so, at least a little bit, Mom?"
"I don't know. But if they're anything like the visions and/or dreams that I and Darien have had for many years, you've got to admit that such dreams and/or visions of yours might be very disturbing to a lot of people. That's if you were to discuss any, several, many, or all of them at sufficient enough length, of course, Serena. Granted, such things may actually come to pass for us. But if they do, wouldn't it be best to not discuss them with a lot of people at any time, if you don't absolutely have to?"
"Mom, if I don't talk about them, I often feel much more scared about the future than I might if I did. And that's why I have to discuss them at least every once in a while. Even the ones that even relate at least partly to Dad, if not also to you. Listen, Mom, I'm no longer a baby anymore. I can handle certain stuff. No matter how bad it might seem to you. Granted, if such things happen, I might be rendered unconscious, asleep, or dead. And so might Darien. But I care very deeply for him and all the other people in my life that I'm sufficiently close to right now. Yes, I know that if the Negaverse comes to bother us all in the Moon Kingdom, Dad might be killed by them, or by elements of them. I might even get hurt really bad or worse. So might a lot of other people in my life. Our Silver Millennium will eventually end, I'm sure, Mom. And when it does, then we'll all likely have to fight for our lives, Mom. That's if we haven't already started to by the end of it, I'm sure. Even me. I may not like it. But I don't want the Negaverse to ruin our Moon Kingdom or the Moon, if I can possibly do my part to keep them from doing so. And if worse comes to worst, and they come to the Moon, please don't be mad if I try to be with Darien then, Mom. Yes, I know that I might be quite seriously harmed if I do so. But I really want to be with him, if possible, if worse comes to worst for us all on the Moon then. I know you might want to blast them for blasting me and Darien. But I know that you won't kill them. No matter what. I can't explain exactly how I know that yet, if I'll ever be able to. But I do know that, just the same. You'll do your best to save all of us, whether we're good or bad. And whether we're from our Milky Way Galaxy's Sol solar system or we're from the Negaverse, you'll still try to do that. Even though Luna and Artemis will probably try to talk you out of doing so, I think, you'll likely save the bad people too who came to ruin us once and for all, in order to save us as well."
"And what if it means my death?"
"Then I'm sure that you'll still do it. For I really do know that you really care for us all very much. Even those of us who are at least occasionally real brats in various situations in our own mortal lives, you'll probably try to save, if you possibly can do so."
"Even you, if I'm not mistaken about who you might be talking about here, Serena?"
"Yes. Me and all the rest of my Court, at least, if not anyone else, as of that time, Mom, of course. That's what I mean."
"Even Raye?"
"Most definitely. Even though we often do argue with each other about a lot of things, I do mean her, of course. I can't imagine a life without her in it, whether it's spent in the Moon Kingdom or not. I hope, though, that you'll somehow be able to also save Destiny and Bethany, of course."
"If such things happen as our visions and/or dreams seem to suggest they might, I'll most certainly try to save as many of our people, animals, and things as I can, Serena. But I don't often see Destiny and Bethany possibly being among those who I might be able to save. That's if and when the Negaverse ever comes to whack us on the Moon, of course. I wish I could tell you one way or another. But I really don't know if they'll even make it to that time at all. Or if they do, if I'll somehow actually be able to save them as well. I really hope that if worse comes to worst for us there on the Moon, that I'll be able to save them. But it's still too early to tell whether or not I'll somehow be able to do so. That's if I'll ever be able to tell whether or not I'll ever be able to do that. Yes, it seems your Dad will be killed in battle, as you seem to think. But I don't know who else might be killed yet by our Negaverse foes."
"Not even if they're our parents, friends, or relatives, Queen Serenity?" asked Lita.
"That's right, Lita. I suspect that they'll actually kill a lot of our people. Though I don't know exactly who might be killed by them yet, without any shadow of a doubt. Whether they're on any or all of our ships, any or all of our space stations, or on any or all of our inhabited planets, moons, and/or asteroids, I don't know exactly how many of our people they'll actually kill. If I have to sacrifice my Kingdom to save as many people from it as possible, I believe that's exactly what I'll do. Even if it actually means my death. If it means my death, though, I'm sure that if any or all of you somehow survive long enough, that you'll eventually miss me quite a bit, as you live anywhere on Earth's surface."
"I also often saw six to eight stations orbiting Earth directly over its Equator at equal distances around it, most likely, Mom. I don't know why, but I also saw them rather frequently in my recent dreams and/or visions."
"They'll hopefully help guide you safely to Earth, if I have to send you there, Serena. If I have to send you there, they'll likely detect your globes, canisters, or whatever kind of container you're each being transferred to Earth in. And they'll hopefully ensure that you and your various containers do land safely on Earth somehow. Your containers may be detected and multiplied in their numbers. So you may actually land in more than one zone on Earth's planetary surface. My Imperium Silver Crystal will probably contain at least eight copies of everyone's genetic code who I'm somehow able to save. At least from our side of the battle for the Moon, if not also the genetic codes of our various enemies, anyway. These stations will likely try to detect those copies when your containers all get close enough to Earth during your transfer process between the Moon and Earth. If they actually detect them, there might be versions of you that do happen to land in more than one zone of Earth. But most, if not all, of the originals will likely end up somewhere in the Tokyo Zone of Earth, I think. Which would fit quite well with many of your recent visions, Serena. You may not ever meet any of your other versions, if more than one copy of your respective genetic codes are detected by those stations, Serena, in the future, or you might. But only time will ever tell if you do. That'll likely also be true for the rest of you girls, of course."
"You mean that there could possibly be more than one of each of us around on Earth in the future, if you send us to Earth, as I'm thinking you will, Mom?"
"Yes, I'm saying that, Serena. It may not be very likely, in fact. But depending on what happens during the transfer process, there may actually be more than one version of any or all of you that makes it safely enough down to Earth." Luna and Artemis soon went back to sleep again here.
"And if that happens, how'll we know about it?" asked Lita.
"You won't, most likely, I think. At least, you might not, if you never meet other versions of yourselves."
"What might cause such versions of us to appear, besides what you've already told us might happen during the transfer process, Queen Serenity?"
"Well, Amy, say a portal of some sort unexpectedly appears between the Moon and Earth and copies any or all of you girls? What do you think might happen then, Amy?"
"They might read our genetic code, and decide whether or not to copy us or destroy us, if they're sentient enough to do so. If they are, and they don't think we're worthy of survival at least once, then we may not survive the transfer process to Earth. I hope that won't happen, of course. But I realize that there may very well be a possibility that such a thing might happen. Especially when we might least expect it to do so. And if it does, at least once, then I'd be willing to say that it might happen to at least one more of us. Depending on how many people, animals, and things are currently being transferred somehow between the Moon and Earth, Queen Serenity. We may not all survive, or we might. At least among those of us who actually leave the Moon for the Earth somehow, anyway."
Then everyone else except Luna and Artemis talked a little while longer with each other, before Serenity soon sent Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina out of the room. She did that so that they could patrol all over the house and on its grounds for at least a little while. She had Hannah, Alexis, Susan, and Michelle each at least nap for at least an hour or two, if not sleep for at least three or four hours. And do it while she was still with all three of her daughters and both of her cats. This was all while Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina were also patrolling nearby as Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus, as the case might be for each of them here, as well.
Then Serenity spent at least a little while talking with her three daughters in all of the required ways, for at least as long as she and they were all willing to do so here. And they all kept reasonably alert as they stayed with all their sleeping companions. At least as long as Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus weren't also in the room with them, anyway. Even though at least one of them would likely want to get some rest for at least a bit of that time, they all stayed reasonably alert. Just in case Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter would need their help while they weren't currently in their room, of course.
Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter eventually returned to the room about two or three hours after they'd left it while they were still out of their respective Scout states of being. They returned safely to it, and with no trouble at all to report to anyone still in the room. They did this just about an hour or two, at most, after local midnight. But they still had this strange feeling that something major would eventually happen while they were still on Ozotov IV. Though, of course, they didn't know yet what it'd be, if, and when, it ever came to pass for them at all.
After they returned to their room, and reported what'd happened to them all while they'd been patrolling to Serenity and all three of her daughters, Serenity let them rest for a while. She then awoke all the Beta-level Scouts now with everyone else in the room. And she soon woke up Luna and Artemis, as well. For she felt they'd both napped for a long enough time. She told Alexis, Hannah, Susan, and Michelle to watch over Amy, Lita, Mina, and Raye while she and her three daughters were patrolling. And they quite readily agreed to do so. Then she and her daughters left the room moments later, of course. Even if at least one of her daughters would've preferred to stay in it at least a little while longer.
Serena would've probably wanted to stay in it for at least a little while longer. But Serenity didn't let her do so. For Serenity didn't want to leave Yoshimo's house and the area around it unprotected for too long, if it could possibly be avoided, while she and all her current companions were still staying in it and on its grounds. So Serena went with her mother and her sisters out of that room. Even though she'd have most likely preferred not to have to patrol again for at least a little while longer, quite naturally.
They all soon powered up to their most powerful Scout states, whatever those respective states might actually happen to be for each of them. Which meant, of course, that Serenity powered herself up to her Sentinel Serenity state. And all three of her daughters powered themselves all up to their respective Scout states. First, Serenity powered herself up to Sentinel Serenity. Then she had Serena, Destiny, and Bethany each power up to their respective Scout states in the exact order of their births. With that done, she soon sent Moon to cover the north side of the house, Corona the east side of it, and Eclipse the west side of it. While she covered the south side of it, after giving them the necessary orders here.
They patrolled their assigned areas around the house for at least ninety minutes. But not more than two hours, before Serenity finally let her daughters stop patrolling in their areas around the house. That was because there was apparently no trouble at all that they could possibly detect near it. At least as of the current time, anyway. Mainly because Serenity's Crystal hadn't yet detected the presence of any Negaversers anywhere on Ozotov IV's Marzotekan landmass. That was if they'd ever make planetfall somewhere on it at all, as Serenity thought they'd eventually do while she and all her current companions were still on it as well, of course.
All of them soon powered down, just as soon as they got into their room again, of course. Serena was especially glad to do so. For she'd wanted to get some rest for at least a little while before she'd had to patrol again around Yoshimo's house. Before they all went to their room again, Serenity made the area as secure as possible. She did that here so that if any trouble arose near or in Yoshimo's house, there'd hopefully be enough time for everyone to get ready to fight again before it got too hard to handle well enough.
I suppose that I'd better stop here now. For this will be where the next part of the story will take up from, in fact, readers. I hope that you have so far enjoyed the story, if you've gotten this far, and that you'll continue to read it, once I put more of it up here on I don't know how long it will take me to get each story in this series up fully on But it might take a while for each story in this series, just the same, readers. Until later, then, this is "The Universal Storyteller" signing off here. Happy reading, and God bless, and all that, of course, readers! Over and out!
