Meeting the Menace
A The Chrysanthemum Chronicles Series Story
Somewhere In The Negaverse
Negaverse Dimension, The Universe
September 14, 986
Meanwhile, as Serenity and others soon went to sleep again, if they'd not already done so, Beryl was now pacing the floor near where she'd recently held a meeting some time before at least a little bit. She was alone for the moment. And planning major trouble for any Cassini Galaxy beings that might actually oppose the Negaverse and its inhabitants. She was doing that while she was still alone for a while where she now was in her life, in fact.
She spent several minutes pacing, and sometimes sitting on a nearby throne, before someone knocked on a nearby doorway of sorts. She called out, "Enter."
Four other Negaversers entered the room that she was currently in, deep in a large projection of the Negaverse. They soon identified themselves as Tornadoite, Avalanchite, Jezebelite, and Athaliahtite. But they said that she could call them either by those names, or by the names of Tornite, Avalite, Jezite, or Athite, if she wanted to. And she agreed to use the shorter versions of their names, when she talked to them in the future.
Tornite and Avalite were fraternal twin males. And the other two were mother and daughter to each other, with Jezite being the mother, and Athite the daughter. All were from a part of the Negaverse that was currently at least 525 million light-years from Earth, if not more. But the first two weren't from the same exact area of that part of the Negaverse that the other two were. Their own area of it was usually about twenty or thirty light-years away from the area in it that Jezite and Athite came from in it. Tornite looked a lot like a Terran black bear, but not entirely. While his fraternal twin looked a lot like a Terran polar bear. They both looked a lot like Terran bears, at least in their outward appearances. But they weren't actually bears, in actual fact. They were mostly ursine-looking humanoids. But they often wore furs to keep themselves warm over themselves. That was mainly why they looked like Terran bears, if not entirely like them. At least most of the time, anyway.
However, Jezite and Athite were snakes. Both in their outward appearances, and in their most frequent ways of acting around people they knew elsewhere in the Negaverse or elsewhere in the known Universe. If not how they always acted in either or both of their lives. They'd made many enemies in their lives. But most of them weren't from anywhere in the Negaverse. Currently, though, their enemies didn't include Beryl and her highest-ranking people in the Negaverse. Or at least for the most part, they didn't. However, if they failed in their missions against the people of the Moon Kingdom, they might eventually include Beryl of the Negaverse, and all of her highest-ranking people in it. For Beryl wouldn't likely stomach repeated failures for long from anyone she knew, and had assigned to a current mission, if she could possibly avoid it, of course.
Beryl would assign Tornite, Avalite, Jezite, and Athite to the first mission to wreak havoc in the Cassini Galaxy, the first chance she got to do so, most likely. She'd hope that the Twin Towers of Terror could take care of all the females that might oppose them. While she'd hope that Jezite and Athite could do the same for all the males that might oppose them as well. This was because Tornite and Avalite were males, and Jezite and Athite were, of course, females from the Negaverse.
She'd not likely care how each pair of them carried out their parts of their first missions for her. Just so long as they were successful enough in carrying them out. But if they couldn't carry them out sufficiently well, she might begin to get quite a bit upset, or even more upset, after every failure of theirs to carry out any future mission she'd ever assign them.
For at least an hour or two after they'd joined her in her current room somewhere in the Negaverse, Beryl then conversed with them about many things. Especially about possible plans of theirs to help the Negaverse wreak great havoc anywhere in the Universe that it could possibly wreak it in. And this likely continued for at least six to ten hours after they joined her there in that room.
She soon assigned them to the first mission against the forces of potential Good in the Cassini Galaxy. For she wanted to see if they'd do well in battle. Supposing, of course, that the Negaverse was somehow ever able to gain sufficient enough access into the Cassini Galaxy. After assigning them to the necessary parts of that mission, she soon dismissed them all from her presence at the current time. She watched them go, and then went to a nearby shrine elsewhere in the Negaverse. This shrine was dedicated to Satan and several other wicked followers of his from many other places in the known Universe. Especially ones that'd likely been dead for many long years in the history of the Universe. There were even quite a few images of many false gods from other times in the history of the known Universe quite often there.
And then Beryl spent at least a few hours worshipping Satan and a number of those false gods, before she decided to retire to one of the countless number of caves anywhere in the Negaverse. Little did she know yet that she'd eventually get her just desserts at least one time from at least one other person and from the One True God of the Universe. Who, by the way, was most definitely not Satan, of course.
Beryl soon retired there, and was soon asleep, but still planning her yet-future attacks against the forces of Good. Even while she was still asleep in the cave somewhere in the Negaverse. She stayed asleep in that cave for quite some time indeed. And she only woke again when someone let her know that they were almost about to gain sufficient enough access into the known Universe's Cassini Galaxy, of course.
I suppose that I'd better stop here now. For this will be where the next part of the story will take up from, in fact, readers. I hope that you have so far enjoyed the story, if you've gotten this far, and that you'll continue to read it, once I put more of it up here on I don't know how long it will take me to get each story in this series up fully on But it might take a while for each story in this series, just the same, readers. Until later, then, this is "The Universal Storyteller" signing off here. Happy reading, and God bless, and all that, of course, readers! Over and out!
