The garden open, full of life
I look inside, and watch them grow
See the birds, hear them sing,
And grow the flowers, row on row.
The trees all hang, with bright green leaves
And stand as still as stone
And catch the dew, in it hands
I never feel alone.
I sit among the bright green grass
And make crowns of gold
Out of flowers perfect colours
My heart is gone, and sold.
I come here every morning
And sit here until dark
And wait until the moon comes out
In my secret hideout park.
No one knows that I am here
No one knows that this is real.
But I hope to keep it this way
You know how it feels?
To have something, all to yourself
To keep it wrapped up nice and tight?
To have it, and open it, whenever you please
And hold it, soft at night?
And be able to kiss its soft cheeks
And keep it close to your heart
If you do not have this secret
I say, you better start.
