Neopets
Chapter 1
Jack liked living alone. No family, no kids, just himself. An email message blipped on his screen. He opened it.
"Jack, go down to the train station at 10:00am. Get on at Gate 4 ½. Don't be late!"

Jack quickly looked at his watch. 10:00am exactly! He didn't know who that email was from, but he thought it was a good idea to obey it. The place was full of people. He Went up to a man.
"Excuse me, do you know where Gate 4 ½ is?" he asked.
The man just laughed.
"I know where Gate 4 ½ is." Said a shy voice behind him.
He turned to see a young girl clad in a black jacket that looked far too big for her and a wide rimed hat. "Come on." She said, and quickly dragged him down some stares that went underneath the train station. They ran down flights of stars until they came to the last floor. There was a door. Jack tried to open it, but it was locked.
"Wait, you need a pass." She said. She pulled a card out of here pocket and slid it into the slot that was in the door. The door opened and they went in. There was lots of trains there.
"All going to the same place." The girl said.
The place was full with people.
"Come on! Let's get on this train!" she said, as she tugged on his arm.
"Oh, alright." He muttered.
As they walked in the door Jack was startled by a voice. "Well, looks like a new comer. I hope you enjoy your stay in Neopia."
Jack looked up and saw a tall creature that was half eagle, and half lion.
"Hey! I'm Kerran. If you need help, just ask me."
Jack and the girl went over and sat down on a seat beside a boy wearing a blue cap and a blue hoddie with the hood pulled over his cap. He had long black hair peeping out from the hood. He was staring out the window.
"Hey! UltraDudegirl! Long time no see." Said the girl.
The boy turned around and Jack realized that is was a 14 year old girl.
"Yo, Anastasia! Looks like you got a newbie." She said, in a particular male tone.
"Umm...newbie?" Jack asked.
"Yo, dude. Newbie, New guy. You get the picture?"
"Ah...yeh, I get the picture."

The train stopped at the station. Jack stared out the window. He saw strange creatures running around.
UltraDudegirl took him by the hand. "Come on. We gotta get you a pass." She took him to a building. A catlike creature stood in a room and seemed to be fumbling around pieces of paper while muttering to himself.
"Excuse me Dude. Hey! Dude! I'm talking to you!" UltraDudegirl groweled.
The creature stoped and spun around to look at her.
"Hey dude, can we get this guy a Pass?" she said.
"Hmmmm. I sure can." The creature said, before it went off into a room and came back with a piece of paper. "What's yer name?"
"Uh, Jack." Said Jack.
"No, no. It's going to have to be original." The creature said
"What do you mean?"
"How about Jakaba?"
"Jakaba? That is the weirdest name I've ever heard."
"But it's original!"
"Fine."
UltraDudegirl smiled. "Jakaba, has a good ring to it."

"How about Jakaba?"
"Jakaba? That is the weirdest name I've ever heard."
"But it's original!"
"Fine."
UltraDudegirl smiled. "Jakaba, has a good ring to it."
