Rain was falling that day. A strange thing for december. What am i saying, its a strange thing anywhere on gunsmoke. They slowly lowered the casket, and i couldnt help the tears that pured from my eyes. That day, even free donuts and salmon sandwiches couldtn help my pain.
I know knives was watching, but i didnt care. I hadnt realized that he was the spider until he killed off all of the butterflies. Milly was buried beside wolfwood. Their child never even had a chance at life. Merryl would lay beside milly forever.
"Its time to come home vash" i heard inside my head. I knew it was knives, so i took up merryls derringers, and wolfwoods cross punisher, and started the long walk abck to the seeds ship. Back where it all began "And where it will be finished" i said alloud finishing my thought.
Five hundred iles later, i was at the ship. For the first time in my life, i wanted to kill that damn spider!
He was waiting for me so patiently when i arrived. "Were all here for you vash" he said calmly, through our mental link.
"What the hell are you talking about knives?" i asked him.
"See for yourself" he answered.
Walking into the ship, that was once my home, i saw a scene of horror. All of the gung-ho-guns were laying in various grotesque poses on the walls. Even wolfwood was hanging from his throat with varous worms crawling through his face. There was a macbre creaking as the wind blew, causing his body to swing slowly, giving the apperance of a twisted sort of dance. Milly was laying at his feet, hands posed as if in prayer.
"What have you done you bastard?" i asked in a growl.
"Just brought your little friends for a party. See, all of mine are here as well." Knives answered sounding a little detatched.
"Milly and meryl both gave up their lives to save yours. The least you could do is let them rest in peace."
"But that is the point. This whole ship is a plant. All we have to do is turn it on, and use our energy, and we can bring them back. You didnt think that i would let myself be in your debt did you?" he asked cruely, laughing maniacly.
