He tried to ask me out after school, but Kaiba had already told me we would be doing our homework project at his mansion. Obviously, we're travelling there via limo. I wonder why these things don't have seatbelts…
Anyway, I'm just surprised Kaiba even said anything to me. I did notice he seems to have an awful lot of fangirls, although that may be for a good reason…he IS kinda good looking…wait, what am I thinking?!
At least he's better than that ****ing ******* who stood me up twice and made up some lame excuse for not being there.
I remember now he always used to be the popular one back at Shinjuku.
Even more popular than Ryo.
Maybe I should have gone for him instead.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the ever-so-annoying "beep beep beep, beeeep beep, beep beep beep" of my ever-so-annoying cellphone. Ignoring Kaiba (who had the classic "raised eyebrow" look on his face), I opened the text message inbox, glanced at the caller ID, opened the message and deleted it without even reading the first line.
Yep, you guessed it.
It was from Jake.
Oh yeah, you guessed that right too.
I am officially giving him the "cold shoulder".
If he runs into me again, he'll have to come up with some more convincing excuses or give up.
Either that or say hello to my extensive martial arts training I took during the last school break.
Then again, he's been beaten up more times than I can count.
