Mamoru, sat in a lecture starring blindly in front of him. Since last night he had felt unable to concentrate, like part of him had stayed, with Usagi, that they were still together, joined by the soft twinkling melody, of the star locket. He thought he heard her whisper his name, he whispered her name.
Usagi was in class, also unable to concentrate. All she could think of was her Mamo-chan. She looked up, up past the ceiling, past the roof, past the skies, to the stars, that twinkled like notes, a musical sky of stars. As she looked at the scene, she wanted to share it with him and found herself whispering his name, only to hear him whisper his back.
The locket that was around Usagi's neck, gave off a strong light that
no one else could see, only her and Mamoru, the tune played gently,
smoothly like, before. The skies opened up for them and they bathed in
the light of the stars together. Separated yet together always.
