Summary: Severus is saying his good-byes to his love, Hermione. This may be a one-shot. It depends on the reviews I get. Very depressing story, this is.

"Are you crazy Albus?" said Severus Snape on receiving information on a certain mission involving Voldemort and a good many tears with his lover, Hermione.

"Yes, of course but that is not the point. The point is that we need you to do this for the Order. For Hermione."

"What did you say?"

"Dear lord, Severus, I know what is going on between you and Ms. Granger but that is not the point. The point is if you don't do this and get the Order the information we need everyone will be dead, inculding Hermione. Please reconsider this Severus."

"How long have you known?"

"For six months," replied Albus.

"And you never said anything?"

"I didn't feel the need to. So, will you go?"

"Yes. Just. Before I leave let me tell Hermione. Please?"

"Of course Severus. Have a safe trip."

Severus went to look for Hermione and found her sitting outside under the tree by the great lake, alone.

"Hello Severus, how was your d..."

"Quiet darling. I have something important to tell you so please just listen."

"Okay honey."

After Severus finished telling her his plan she didn't know what to say...

"Severus...this...this can't be true..."

"But it is my darling. Have to go. I wanted to say good bye."

"Please, no...."

With one last kiss Severus apparated to go on his mission for the Order. To go work as spy with Voldemort. Both lovers knew that would be the last kiss they shared.
