This is another poem of Aeris.

Silence

Silently, she walks the path,
Her every step weighing doom,
every breath a hollow click,
ticking down infinity's end.
The silence mocking,
The darkness jeering,
and ringing laughter taunting.
Grim knowledge pulls her on,
Silent hope brought finality nearer,
and footsteps ring towards fate.
Innocence offered on stone,
Purity knelt upon altar,
slilent prayers afloat,
a final love is shown,
then her eyes do shut.
A smile of truimph upon her face,
embracing the end, she falls.
