Disclaimer: No again. I can wish and dream but nada! All I own are Delaney,
the orphanage kids, and Aldan. However, Abby is a real eight-year-old that
I know. This character is based on Abby's role in a play that we were
recently in called, "Annie!" where she played the role of Pepper, the bossy
orphan with an attitude.
Sorry I didn't post this last time. I'm new to this and I didn't feel like changing it then. But even then I didn't own Harry Potter characters.
By the way, when I said "she," throughout the last chapter, I meant Delaney.
Delaney woke up to the usual screaming and shouts of the orphanage. Not that she enjoyed it of course, but she had grown numb to it over the past nine years. Who wouldn't?
She stretched out her small legs and stood up. She dawned on her sky blue dress that matched perfectly with her eyes. Delaney then walked to the bed at the other side of the room and shook a small figure that groaned loudly and turned over.
"Abbey! Abbey! Get up!" Delaney called to the tiny lump. The bump shifted and a small brunette head poked out and stared blankly at Delaney with small green eyes. "What now?" Abbey asked sardonically. "Wait don't tell me! I don't want to know what you did to another kid. What happened this time? Turned one into a flower pot?" Delaney laughed and pulled down Abbey's covers and handed her an outfit for the day. "Just put it on." She giggled, "I just wanted to know if you wanted to go out for a walk with me. I happen to have two tickets to a Giants game but if your too tired to come then I could always ask someone else..." As she said this, Abbey had speed dressed and fixed her hair in two ponytails on either side of her head. Delaney grinned as Abbey pulled her hand while shouting, "What are you waiting for? Lets go!"
And with that, the two friends, like sisters, climbed down the steps of the orphanage and walked over to Pac Bell Park, where little did they know, they would both find a secret from a special someone.
